OR maybe that you can only apply for one increase every 6 months..... usually the case (internal records show the date of last increase and their system would not allow you to reapply for one until 6mths have passed. The screen then shows a suggested value and if you apply to this they perform a soft search, if you ask for more they perform a full search)....
Thats the way it works there matey....2010 - year of the troll

Fair enough, I will be waiting six months now, although I was pretty angry with the telephone agent who put trough the second request for me who said I only need to wait two to three months.
The next person I spoke to said I have to wait six months between applications for an increase, and the one that I made in September is going to mark me down, so I now have the telephone number for a member of credit control who will do a manual increase in January if I've continued to run the account well etcCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Different lenders subscribe to different CRA's and some use two or all three for reporting purposes. Look at page 1 and you'll see who reports (account conduct) to which CRA.2010 - year of the troll

Don't waste your money - either pay for Experian or Equifax as they are the major CRA's - CallCredit is not as common and therefore buying their monthly report is a waste of money...
If anything, send £2 and request your statutory report as a one off.2010 - year of the troll

Hi Underground
Excellent thread! I wish I'd seen it ages ago.
Do GM Card (issued by HFC) also search Experian and CallCredit, and not Equifax, just like HSBC?
Thanks a lot.0
