    Hi all

Just had a refresh of post #1 and weeded out some redundant info.

    Found the following whilst updating:
    • MINT, Argos credit card, Sky card, all Citicard - not currently taking applications / discontinued.
    • Barclaycard Masterloan no longer being issued (refers to Barclays)
    • Welcome Finance no longer taking personal loan applications
    • Alliance & Leicester and Abbey credit cards no longer being issued - only card available is Santander Zero
As usual any information gratefully received - especially for loans and mortgages.

    Regards

I mean that Barclays are no longer offering personal loans under the Barclaycard Masterloan brand. When you click on the 'Loans' link on the Barclaycard website it takes you to a page referring you to Barclays.

Even then Barclays are only offering loans to their own current account customers.

Barclaycard Masterloan were one of the few that only search Equifax.

Underground - just want to say excellent update to thread with the links on page 1 - makes life sooooo much easier to go straight to the actual lenders page.

    Thanks.

side note, can you add the sygma silver card to the sygma list :-)

  • Okay - i've just taken out mortgage with Nationwide who only searched Experian. My experian and equifax reports are total contrast.

Bank of america search callcredit. Just got a refusal.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi

Just on the hunt for information (again!).

The 'Mortgages' section is looking a bit empty so if anyone has applied for a mortgage recently and knows which CRA was used I would really appreciate a post.

This could be very useful info for some people if one or the other of their credit files is a bit ropey and may improve someones chances of success (ie. if a lender only uses Experian and the applicant has a squeaky clean Experian but derogatory info on their Equifax).

All information is greatly appreciated, I hope the thread is still proving useful.

    Regards

Cheers n-i-d, took a while to link the lot!

I had already linked the Sygma Silver to 'Sygma Bank', will now link separately for clarity.
