Thank goodness for you!
Absolutely - she's only just turned 16 - she's still a child. I can't imagine how any parent could treat their children like that. Mind you my mum and I clashed terribly when I was 16. Probably because of a mix of puberty and menopause. What a lovely mixture :rolleyes:DS in his playpen, refusing any hint at sleep. He may be as pale as a ghost with huge shadows under his eyes, but he doesn't see why he should mess around with this 'nap' rubbish.
I had to ban both my daughters from having naps when they were about 2. They would wake up and scream for about half an hour. They were much better without the nap
Right, I'm off to get the washing folded and sorted, then I'm going to get DS from school and drop my repeat prescription into the docs before I run out.0 -

Absolutely not!!!! We usually have a 'proper' cooked meal for either lunch or tea then something like soup, sandwiches, beans on toast, pizza, etc. for the other. Anyway - thats a meal in itself anyway - toast = carbohydrate, beans = 1 portion of veg also a source of protein, egg = protein & vits A,D,E,K. All in all pretty good I think!0 -
Just posting my list with crossed off things I've done. I've done more than I thought today!

they will probably end up with cheese on top.. they are a bit weird my lot..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Sounds like a perfectly fine dinner to me if they've already had a proper cooked meal. My DS refuses to have school dinners, and DD1 has school dinners, but their vegetarian options are dire so she needs a decent meal when she gets in. Her primary school used to cook food specially for her, but it seems to be veg lasagne at least a couple of times a week and macaroni cheese for the other days
Mind you, mine wouldn't like beans on toast and eggs. They don't really like baked beans, DS doesn't like fried eggs, and DD1 has stopped eating eggs0 -
Quick question for those of you studying at the OU (Johanne I know you're studying there as well but you've got your hands full already with that cutiepie of a daughter
) - when you get a question that is in multiple parts as in Question 1 - 1.1, 1.2 (a) (b), 1.3 how do you lay it out? Should it be laid out almost like bullet points? Or should it just be a series of paragraphs? My brain hurts.
The first alarm for me to collect DD has just gone off so I'm quitting my study now until she goes to bed.
To do :- Dishes
- Get DD changed into wearable clothes
- Empty WM & put on maiden
- Bring in washing thats outside
- Write brothers birthday card
- Visit family - REMEMBER SCHOOL REPORT
- Stuff out for the morning
- Text Ex for him to phone DD  (don't ask)
- STUDY
- A Q1
- A Q2
- B - 850 word essay
- Tidy desk up so I can find stuff!!!
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
