    Hi,
Ths is my first visit today as we have had a hugely busy day and I was so clever and left all my kitchen things (trays, racks etc) soaking last night, so I have been very busy this evening doing a different room. When I get my next half hour of peace and quiet I will try to read all your posts.

Jill - it's not easy, I think maybe starting with a book to keep note of all the little things that need doing and track of spending, maybe a pocket size diary if you can find one this late in the year or a small note book. Something you can carry with you, that doesn't need you to have time on the computer to catch up with, you can then transfer the data to the spreadsheet when you have time.
Shell giant hugs coming your way, no need for an apology, in here is one of the places you can rant/moan to your hearts content and never be judged, you've got to give yourself time to deal with all the emotional stuff instead of keeping yourself busy to keep your mind off it (which I can tell you're doing) take it easy honey x
Tidy Up Tash, thankfully I don't work full time aswell as it all, really feel for you, I know what you mean about the frustration x
mumofjusttwo well done you for telling her to sit elsewhere, cheeky bint!
MrsV sorry, but that made me laugh too :rotfl: I can just imagine. We used to get loads of birds flying in our old flat, I don't know why, they just used to pop in all the time, I used to have to get the guys who lived upstairs (;) australian rugby players ;) ) to catch them.

Nicki I do seperate paragraphs labelled with each number.
Pigpen big hugs and well dones for you, it does sound like that girls being used as a babysitter but I find with the youngsters I've dealt with, those who've had a sh*te upbringing want to look after the siblings because they know their parents are useless.
Kaz, big hugs for you, your OH and your DS, your Exs family too of course, will be thinking of you all x
Craftyscholar & g&b that was a busy week, kind of overlap as he'd worked less the week before, usually does around 16, but tends to be out of the house over 20 with travelling etc. He cleans the cars, does DIY jobs when the mood takes him (can take up to 6 months and won't do decorating etc unless forced), other than that nothing, I do all the housework, gardening, meals, dogs (walk, feed, clean up after) laundry etc etc, not even cleaning up after himself hence my current frustration. He does sometimes help once in a month like last month helped a bit in the boys rooms, month before tidied the sitting room one day.
Michelle you're right 'moaning murtle' is a name DS1 started calling anyone who moaned after watching harry potter.

Good evening, think I hav got most of my mentions done, you lot take some catching up with!

Me and DP still need to have a proper talk, which we've agreed to do but I said needs to wait until my assignments finished. I can't have my head in a mess, well more than it is and deal with that. We're being pleasant to each other, he half helped with BBQ dinner and clearing away (in between having a paddy with 3 about his phone) which really helped, just those little things make so much of a difference. He's not done anything else however, his tin can alley is still there of course, I think that annoys me the most as he walks back in the kitchen to get another can and leaves the other on there, why not take it when he goes in? Men eh, no sense. He has however, just offered, via MSN (because of his ASD issues we tend to talk better typing to each other as he's useless socially) he's going to put the boys to bed.

Meeting today went really well, really committed professionals from the authorities who I think are as passionate about the project as we are, what we're working with them towards will be amazing for people in the area with children with special needs/disabilities hence my passion. Unfortunately means more meetings for me, but we've given August a miss so back to those in September.

Tonight going to get the boys to bed, work on some posters for event we have coming up then work on my assignment. DPs at dentist in morning which I need to take him to, then got his car booked in so I have to go through to bring him back, then he needs to go to 3 shop and scream at them, then back here for more studying!

Oh **urgh** dogs just farted, vile thing! Right, need to sort some bed sheets for him to make the boys beds, I haven't mentioned they need them doing aswell as putting to bed :D he will probably revoke his offer to go and buy alcohol then (he doesn't usually offer so he's sucking up) toodles!
One day I might be more organised...........

Lil_me - glad to hear OH has made "some" effort - I guess its like they say "every little helps". I really dont know how you do it all and still have time to look after us lot with out ups and downs too:A .

Not sure if you remember me telling you about the problems DD1 was having with a little girl in her class. Well despite me telling her 3 day a week teacher a couple of weeks ago that this little girls had turned from verbal to pushing etc. Picked DD up today and this little minx has scratched her arm and broken the skin. I really hope they are in different classes next year. Need to check with teacher tomorrow if a record of these problems has been kept. I have spoken to them on 5 occasions now.

I have booked the train tickets for next Monday so hopefully they will turn up Wednesday. Will need to book the taxi next.

    Tomorrows list is:-

    Pack ups
Littles ready and to friends to drop at school for me by 8.20
Try to find place in Huntingdon for interview:eek:
    Collect DD2 from Lunch club
Back to school for DD1 music lesson
    Fit some tidying in
    Think about something for tea

Think I would forewarn him. That way he can shout and swear (if thats how you expect him to react) before he gets into the house and she hears it.

    Good luck hun!

I agree with Shell i'd prewarn him. It won't come as such a shock then.

shell you seem to be worrying about lots of separate issues at the moment. Please take some time out for yourself too.

pigpen sounds like you are physically suffering from the booze - another one who needs to take it easy. I'm glad you are helping the girl, but please make sure you are not being used if you have fed all of the siblings too. That sounds like a fab con to me. And don't want it compromising you and your nice nature.

kaz big hugs especially for your DS. What a rubbish situation for your DH to have been put in. Sounds like he coped well though.

Jill look forward to seeing you around a bit more then. - My organisation skills involve my calendar and plan a day diary. Everything i want to remember gets written in both, then i always have the diary with me. When i am at work, i even take notes from the meetings in the diary, and write actionable dates straight in the diary. Works for me.

Flying today - not done loads, but i have been trying to keep on top of the whirling dervish that is ds1. Highlights today are pulling a tray with oil in over the kitchen floor and himself - luckily not hot, trying to eat a bag of silica he found in one of my storage boxes, when the paper got soggy, it then ripped and the balls went everywhere. Then, when i was picking that one up (bearing in mind i was BFing at the same time) he found another one and did the same thing. He then found a pack of negatives, and they were everywhere. Lots more, but less amusing as the day went on.

    So, i have:
    • done a bit of shredding
    • written some thanks cards for baby pressies (only 10 weeks late)
    • posted some letters off
    • watched the rest of my DVD rental
    • washed a load of dishes
    • spoken to both sisters on the phone
    • also FIL
    • made a bread and butter pudding
    • put buggy in car for tomorrow
    • stain soaked some clothes including the oily ones
    • binned some bits and bats off the desk
    • cleared some stuff off the dining table.
When we have eaten the pudding, i am off to do some clothes sorting i think. Perhaps i should get the wm on with the stuff that has been soaking. I really don't know where the day goes.

Anyway, onwards for me. Might not be in tomorrow as i said i may go to town with my sister and buy some tops for me for our hols as some of mine are past their best. Only Primark ones probably but i am due some new stuff.

    Michelle, x
