Evening all.
Haven't managed to catch up on this week's thread yet, so apologies if I have missed any big events.
Dusty-great news about hubby's job.
Well, finally broke up for six weeks so I have some serious flying planned. It has been so manic at school this week (totally stiff neck from taking down and putting up displays). I have done naff all cleaning at home. If anyone pops in unannounced I'll just have to claim we've been burgled:o )Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -
Well done to Dusty's DH
And to Nicki for finishing her essay (it was an essay wasn't it?)
Hope anybody feeling ill is on the mend.
Just finishing washing up (I go to work with everything done but miraculously there's another bowlful when I get home).0 -
Have just swept the floor (with OH asleep on the sofa), swept stairs (only carpet in the house so NEVER gets done), cleaned off kitchen windowsill, washed up and now having a little brandy. Think I deserve it.
And it's all thanks to you guys and this great thread I discovered a few hours ago.
Thankyou!:jJune Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Hi
I should be in bed but i'm enjoying the peace and quiet before i have to spend a week in a caravan with 6 other people:eek: . I hope everyone has a good week.0 -
oops. I thought after all my hard work I deserved a treat so I made a small batch of Twink's Hobnobs. I have eaten 5! Although they are on the crunchy side is not stopping me and worse thing is I am getting crumbs everywhere! So much for the nicely swept floorJune Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

RMC that's fine, just don't say the word, spelt with an X or a C it's the same nasty word!
Well I might seem mad up to this hour, but anyway DS2 couldn't sleep, so from 9 pm after I'd bathed him etc he's helped me do my room until I had to make him go to bed at 11 ish. Finished in there not very long ago, it looks so much better it's unreal, I can walk across the room. DS2s idea after he tidied his room said 'do yours now it's mess' :rotfl:he loves going under the bed finding things so was happy. Never know he might sleep in in the morning.
Well anyway, got a bag packed while I was on (no point putting them away to get them back out) tried on a bundle of stuff I got off ebay, mostly new (I had to remove the tags) most of it is things I would have never considered even looking at (as I've gone plain and boring as DP put it) so it's made me try them, most is really nice, pile of strappy things which will probably go back on ebay as I hate showing bra straps and my arms.
Going to do some of the banking stuff and get myself off to bed I think, feeling very worn out now, definately nothing like a little boy who is motivated by not wanting to go to bed and wanting to play under your bed to get you motivated, he's a right bossy *** :rotfl: Night night all xOne day I might be more organised...........
