    I have been off work sick for 6 weeks, I have spent less than 2 days in bed in all that time, I asked him if he thought I was sick, to which he replied - well you seem to be able to carry on!!

    I, foolishly, did not take to my bed and whinge like the worlds biggest whinger.......... NO I BEHAVED LIKE AN ADULT

    :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    but it is man flu - it is completely different. It is only totally incapacitating if you are male and over the age of 13.
    I find spitting in every drink I take up makes me feel much better ( :hello: dh who sometimes reads from work) and hoovering so I can't hear the whingy noises or theatrical coughing. You don't actually have to move the hoover, just switch it on. I also 'accidentally' leave my phone on silent.

    I have shifted the abandoned building materials upstairs so that our sitting room is clean and clear. Trying to convince the boys that they should tidy the playroom but I am giving up as a bad job. Trying to tidy whilst the building works are going on is frustrating and pointless.

    Hi Girls

    Still flying but not had a chance to post the past couple of days. I have to go do the dreaded weekly shop this afternoon. I don't mind doing the shopping, but I hate putting it away once home! My new car has still not arrived; apparently it is now in Spain! It is going to be one well travelled car once I finally get it! The Midlands might be a bit of a let down for it after visiting half of Europe! ;) Dont know if you noticed but on Martin Lewis's weekly news letter there was a link where you can apply for 10 free chess sets for every school in England. I know that a lot of us have children so thought you might all be interested seeing as its free :money: . You need to apply soon. The link is

    Hi

    Well done Nicki

    I've done as much packing as i can for now. I just need to make some snacks for the journey and lock up the bikes. I'm sure there's 101 other things to do but i can't remember them now.:rolleyes:

    Ds1 has been driving me mad today, every thing i ask him to do gets done so slowly. I asked him to go and take all the stuff out of the boot. There wasn't much only a couple of bags. I wanted it done whilst Ds2 was in his high chair so he didn't try and leg it out of the door. By the time he'd put on his shoes Ds2 had finished eating and i had done all the washing up:mad: .
