Mrs V - Woah! Impressed! :D It will be nice for DS1 to attend the more local school. I'm not as keen on it as I am the other school, and OFSTED rate it lower too, but not having to fight a toddler and a pushchair onto a bus full of selfish 12-16year olds at 3pm will be fantastic. And we're pretty sure he would end up moving next year anyway so it saves the upset later. He'll make new friends, he a sociable child. :) Excellent news about the house!

rmc - I think pigpen decided that it was a lack of cups of tea that caused the problem rather than a surfeit of alcohol. I like her thinking.:D

Oh silly me I forgot the medical problems lack of tea can bring.....teapnia!
    And also like her thinking!:)

Going to post first and read after because I've only just got on the computer today.

Stripped and remade my bed. Dusted and polished all bedrooms, cleaned all the mirrors, vacuumed all the bedrooms, the landing and the bathroom/toilet. Vacuumed the stairs. Dusted computer desk and living room and vacuumed right through downstairs.

Both loads of washing dry and put away by lunch time.

Had back wall rebuilt yesterday which wrecked the border next to it so I completely dug that out, saved and moved a couple of plants and got it ready for some new ones which I'm hoping to get tomorrow. Then I cut the grass.

I ache in places I didn't know could ache tonight!

    Nice one RMC!

Feeling quite perky this morning after another good night's sleep. And it's Thursday. Which means tomorrow's Friday which means the weekend's almost here.

Actually, I'll go off topic here and just have a quick rant about what I've just heard on the news. The government putting millions into buying up surplus housing stock from poor, hard done by builders who are suffering? What about ordinary householders who are suffering?

But enough of that. Better get ready for work

Bah, prefer during the week as i work at the weekend:rolleyes: Oh which reminds me i have to wash my work stuff! Will do that in a mo.
Triker, just read Wellers thread, how awful. Was in tears reading it:o Hope you are feeling better soon. I think there must be a bug going round, i felt like that yesterday, had a splitting headache and felt all weak and shaky. Fell asleep on the sofa at about 8pm:o Stayed there til morning, our sofa is very comfy:D
Will do as much as i feel up to today, got that horrible sore throat you get before a cold or something kicks in, mean to be the start of pre-season training tonight, but i shall see how i feel. Really need to go as my fitness level has dropped dramatically since the season finished, however pre-season usually means running til you vomit and as i feel like vomiting already i'm not sure it would be advisable;)

    Yes I've seen that

The couple with the young daughter were so smug. Did laugh when the woman asked Andrew what he thought of the plates and he said he didn't like them so she bought them anyway! :rotfl:
