she is already on medication for her 'twitchy bladder' but how can you work with her to stop when she admits she likes it?
Wahsing out.. it is so windy the sheets I hung out first were almost dry by the time I got to the bottom of the 3rd basket!
Is she old enough to be able to change her own bedding? If so having to do it every night might put her off.0 -
Afternoon all, sorry no thanking as mouse playing up.
Shell well done you, see they did like you for you and not for fancy vocab. I'd go to the other one as well you have little to loose - good luck with the childcare and hope LO feels better soon
G&B thanks for that - I'll have a look at the coupon - I have booked an Ocado delivery for tomorrow with a bit of a money off code just to get some main heavy stuff delivered.
Lizzie compost - I would say don't buy anything specific. How long is the stuff going to be in there? I use an old washed out plastic paint pot (with a handle) and put a chipped dinner plate on top to stop the flies. I put a piece of recycled kitchen roll in the bottom to stop it staining - but newspaper is a great idea - will cut some up and use that in future. Mine fits in the dishwasher for cleaning.
Been on a school trip all day so exhausted. I can't say i really enjoyed it - kids were a bit wild but it is nice to be asked.
I'm home all day tomorrow so hope to catch up on flying then, too tired for today although I did hoover the kitchen floor this morning.
List for tomorrow
OH office - Deweb
Living room - wet wiping
DS1 room - wet wiping
Floors downstairs - hoover and mop
Downstairs cloakroom

Evening all
Boddy – thank you sharing that. Your ex sounds like my ex2 – the one I never want to see ever again. When I left him I walked away with nothing but my own possessions – I didn’t claim maintenance, half the house or anything. I wanted to have no reason for him to contact me ever again. He played psychological and emotional games on us, was violent the lot. A seriously nasty piece of work...
Ex 1 now, he was never really a !!!!!! there were lots of faults on both sides... I’m glad you were able to find the real you though...
Shell – well done!:j Do the other interview as others have said - it'll be good practice.
Had a much better day at work today. Did a large Staples order which will be delivered tomorrow. Phoned the dentist back and re-arranged the appointments I missed yesterday. The receptionist was very understanding so I'm hoping I've got away without having to pay for the missed appointments. And actually managed to achieve some actual work which is a miracle.
I'm on my own this evening as the kids are at a strike barbecue. Have no idea what I'll make myself for dinner. I'm just enjoying the unaccustomed peace and quiet - don't usually get that this time of night. So, I think I'll take a glass of wine into the garden for half an hour, do a reply to ex1's latest email, order my road tax online (due at the end of July) and then rummage in the freezer for something tempting.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

She is 7.5.. and we tried that but she doesn't care.. I think she finds it a kind of comfort being wet.. and smellyLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Thanks dusty. We got a supply of biodegradable bags from the council this morning, plastic and paper ones. Once they run out I have got an empty plastic biscuit box that I will just line with newspaper in future.
Council are coming to take away the surplus bin so I just have to make sure that everyone makes the effort to put the right stuff in the right bin now. Our non recyclable bin is much smaller and will only get emptied fortnightly on alternate weeks to the recyclable bin (which is huge!). Green waste will be collected weekly. I don't think we will have too much of a problem, we usually only have 2 bin bags a week for 4 of us.
When I got home from the school run the builders were asking if they could start taking my wall down staright away!!!! So no flying in that room today. It's going to be horrible sleeping in there tonight as there is no light and it smells of the chipboard partition. I'm one of those people that have to have the window open no matter what the weather so having no fresh air coming in is going to be hard as well. Still at least I don't have to skulk around getting dressed in the morning if I'm running late and the roofers are already up on the scaffold! They are quite cute, maybe I should have flashed them while I had the chance0 -
