I put greased greasproof paper in the bottom of the remska and they turned out yummy. I`ve made them lots in the oven but they are much nicer in the remmy.
    Enjoy.

Baked a lemon drizzle cake in my 'moski this afternoon, (himself is delighted by my new found enthusiasm for baking, after being forced to do without since my diet started in Feb :rotfl:) Big success!
This evening we had Cod baked in 'moski in foil parcels with a chopped green chilli, 1" grated ginger, 4 chopped spring onions, 2 cloves sliced garlic, 2 tbspns soy sauce & 1 tbspn sesame oil. Lovely! Served it with steamed mange tout & baby corn. Another big success. :j

Oooh sounds lovely. I love that kind of dish.

I did my kids' favourite - meat balls in a tomato sauce with rice. Wanted to get it all done in the remoska so I used both pans - browned the meatballs for 10 mins in shallow pan and in the meantime assembled a tomato sauce in the deep pan, with rice in the separator. Swapped pans over and transferred the meatballs into the sauce, and set for 30 mins. Was delicious and the washing up was so easy.

I tried the racks from my combi microwave in my grand but they were no good, just slightly too big.I bought the rack and it was worth it so I don't mind.I would still try though they might work.I hope you have more luck.

the overall size is great but Im going to cut the legs shorter to get the right height as Ive never used it in the microwave for years anyway:rotfl:

Also went to HB today and bought the silicone muffin trays x 3 then cut one up for eggs etc but ended up making some stuffing and doing using two of them for that and they came out cute little stuffing shapes

    xx:rotfl:

  • I got my Grande remoska from my mum a couple of weeks ago - so far I have only really done roast pots, chips and jacket pots in it but deciced to give a Sunday dinner a go yesterday - did pork, pots and carrots. The pork had fantastic crackling but seemed really dry (I think I cooked it too long), the pots were soggy but very tasty and the carrots were delicious!

Could anyone tell me how to cook rice in it please....
