My remoska busy today too. Bread rolls and a cooked breakfast this morning. And I roasted a 1.3kg chicken in it for dinner.
Poor oven must be feeling pretty paranoid about its neglect!0 -
I just got told I was having the utensil set, I've got loads but I'm hoping these are a bit smaller than the ones I've got. To be honest I don't know what I'd have chosen anyway.0

It was the utensil set they sent out to me too. Didn't mind as could do with a new set anyway and was pleased to get the £10 off plus the gift.
Just cooked a large chicken tonight from the M&S meal deal. It was delicious - really moist. Cooked it upside down for a while then turned it the correct way up. Did some HM chips yesterday but they didn't seem to crisp up - they were cooked but just wonder if I had left them for longer they would have gone crisp.0 -

Tonight I drained them, dried them and tossed them in some olive oil with salt and pepper and cooked them in the remoska for about 45 mins - I stirred them around once during this time - then when they were all crisp and golden we had them with some home made dips - lovely.

I did the same after reading your post PP as I am a bit of a wuss with things like this (don't know why!) and I too recieved the email saying they will honour the price due to the cross over of brochures. So I took a deep breath phoned this morning and didn't even have to ask for the cheaper price, the lovely lady asked what brocure I was ordering from I said the Summer 08 and when I gave her the number she said the 'grand remoska at 99.99' :T Yay result so a big big thankyou to all you guys for giving me the push to do it I am so excited...I really need to get out more- Make 2023 in 2023 # £00/2023

Roast Beef?
Hi got a cheap joint from lidl yesterday, up to 40% off meat and poultry!
So I have some beef normally do it it the slow cooker but thinking of doing it in thr Remoska, with a few pots, some butternut squash and onion.
Its only alittle joint, would you put veg on bottom and meat on top or veg round the sides? I have a grand.
Thinks i will also do a yorkshire pudding 1st, can warm up under the grill?
thanks0 -

Not done roast beef in mine yet but I am sure someone will be along soon who has. Think I would put the meat in middle and veg around the sides if no-one comes along who has already cooked a beef joint.0 -
I am cooking my first roast chicken in my 'Moska:D
I have put it in upside down and have put some potatoes to roast around the edges and made a type of seperator dish with some Lakeland tin foil (free sample) and put some sliced carrots with olive oil and brown sugar in that.
Will let you know how they turn out:jBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
shuffles in quietly, Ive just ordered the standard one, managed to get it for the old price plus I had a £5 voucher so used that towards the cook book.
The lady was lovely and explained costs had gone up etc etc but she did honour the price in my catalogue so Im quite happy and al
now please tell me Ive done the right thing, after a week of living off junk cos I couldn't get enough food together to justify the oven being on I'm hoping this remoska will be worth it.
Ive gone for the standard even though its just me as reading through here the baby is possibly too small
But anyway look forwards to trying out the recipes:TJune Grocery Challenge 270.80/250July Grocery Challenge 0/3000
