Has anyone successfully baked a cake in a baby remoska. If so do you have any recipes please.

I use my Remoska Grande for baking homemade bread. I make a large amount of dough (using 600-700grms of flour ) and let it rise in the Remoska (switching it on for a minute or 2 if the weather is cold).
My bread rises brilliantly and fills the Remoska, but once the heat comes at it it sinks, and although the bread tastes lovely, it resembles a discus.
I have tried loaf tins but the loaf is a bit too small for my taste-I'd rather just do it in the tin.
Does anyone else have this problem? (Ive never tried a cake in it but I imagine a similar thing must happen)

I've just made a few scones and they were really good. Would like to try a cake but dont want to waste ingredients if it may not work. Anyone tried baking cakes?Snowball DF Nov 2017Jan 2011 MBNA £2634.66 Feb £2608.37 Mar £2561.860

Wow i`d forgotten about this thread
I did contact Lakeland about my peeling teflon and they were fab, i`ve had my brand new replacement for a while now.
Cakes - I`ve made lotsIn my standard remmy i make up one and a half times the quantities in a recipe so i would guess that a baby remmy would just be the normal amounts.
I always grease and line the pan with greaseproof paper and grease the top of the paper too. Have a circle of foil handy as sometimes it catches a little round the edges so slip the foil on top of the cake if it looks like this is going to happen. I`ve always had very good results - better than my old oven!

I have just emailed Lakeland and asked why they don't still sell the baby Remoska.

Hi-I was given a large slow cooker and I am using it all the time for meat stock.
How does a remoska differ and would it be worth getting one, there are two of us at home.If you don't leap, you'll never know what it is to fly :heartpuls0
