Hi I've not read this thread for ages, I had a standard remoska for about 5 years then had a problem with the lid, Lakeland sent me a brand new one, since then I've been diagnosed with Coeliac disease, so cooking for my husband who can eat anything and cooking for me,
I'm also vegetarian, has been really hard, so I've treated myself to a grande and a shallow pan, now I can cook for us both at the same time using the two pans. Lakeland customer service is the best I know. If anyone has any vegetarian gluten free recipes I would really appreciate it, thankyou

The coating is coming off the lid (heating element) of my Standard remoska and every so often I find a little bit on top of the food I am cooking. I don't suppose I can complain as I use it a lot - however I am tempted to mention it to Lakeland. I get by by using the Standard for the immediate family and use the Grande if we have friends in so that they don't have to pick 'bits' off their food. Do you think there is anything I should/could have done to prevent this happening?0

I had this too and then discovered that it wasn`t actually the coating but something which was very thin and stuck onto the lid in a couple of places. I gave mine a really good scrub with a plastic scourer and now its fine, could this be whats happening to yours?
My remmy is still going strong and is used an awful lot, this is despite me dropping the whole thing - lid and all onto a concrete floor, twice  i though that it would definitely be a gonner but nope its still ok
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -

I had exactly the same thing happen to 1 of my standard remoskas not so long ago... I emailed them to let them know -I did say it was still usable as I checked the lid for loose flakes before using and then rubbed with a pot sponge if there were any-but they still sent me a new one out :T -its staying in its box as I have 2 standards in use -and now the lid seems to have stopped "peeling"-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
has anyone used silicon cup cases in their remoska? i got 12 for £2 from tesco today and it would be good if i could make cupcakes instead of putting the oven on0
