I used Lakeland as I had heard somettimes there were problems with the pans or the remy not cooking evenly and Lakeland will replace immediately if there are problems.
As it turns out (fingers crossed) I did not have any problems at all, but did get a set of free melamine utensils to use when I ordered from Lakeland."This site is addictive!"

Thanks, Lakeland are good. If I go for the grande, I would like a shallow pan, but they seem very over priced would a cake tin do the trick if so what diamenter does it need to be.Pawpurrs x0

I'm not sure that you could find a big enough cake tin, or if it would be strong enough, but I use a wok as a base for my Remoska sometimes so I can start off stuff on the hob then finish it with the Remoska. I have a grand and my wok is 13" or 33cm in diameter - measured to the outside edge of the slight lip on my wok.
This system works very well for toad in the hole by the way as you can get the fat really hot."Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning how to dance in the rain." ~ Vivian Greene0 -
Oh I would love your recipe for veggie bolognaise if you dont mind, I have a bag of frozen quorn and really dont know how to use it best.
I chopped up 2 onions and pack off quorn mince crushed 2 garlic cloves and tipped a little bit of olive oil in the deap pan and cooked all together till it browned, stirring as and when. Then added 4 tins of chopped tomatoes (Tesco own value range) 2 tea spooned of dried chopped herbs, squeeze of tomato pur!e and squeeze of tomato sauce. and stir all together.
This made 8 portions of which I froze 7. I cooked the spaghetti on my gas hob.sw start date 23/09/2013 4 st 8 pounds to go....as of 21/10/13 not 3 stone 7 to go for first target. updated 18/11/13 now 2 stone 10lbs to go to first target.0 -
Bought a Grand Remoska at Lakeland Bluewater at 11:30am, got the shallow pan too and we've just polished off a lovely chicken & chorizo paella, cooked it brilliantly.0

:T Thanks so much for that prettypicture2, I will definitely be trying that one soon, I have a vegetable chilli in the MOZ at the moment with some potato wedges on the rack. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

I found this website while looking for remoska recipes....

It looks quite good, I think they do the demonstrations in Lakeland stores.0 -
I am so fed up - trying to cook a bolognaise sauce in my remoska and after 15 minutes it tripped my electrics - 5 times! This is the second remoska to do this to me - is it worth trying again or should I just ask for a refund?0
