My (standard) Remoska got delivered in the week and I wasn't going to use it until I got to my new house (I move in 3 weeks) but I couldn't resist! I did flapjacks in it this morning and roast potatoes and lamb for dinner tonight. I think I am going to be using it a lot! Chips tomorrow night, I can't wait!

I love my Remoska! I bought it last year to use when my Aga (AKA gas-guzzling beast) was switched off for the summer to save us some money and reduce the ambient heat in the kitchen.

It is fab. Roast chicken is even better than in the Aga (and trust me, that takes some beating) and it makes great tasting toad-in-the hole. The only complaint I would have is that oven chips take an age in the standard pan- but the shallow pan would be a bit of a dear investment for just chips!

Well worth the investment. As Lakeland say, it is postively miserly with electricity.

I am sorry if I am in the wrong place, but I was trying to find the the most up to date thread on Remoskas. I am sorely tempted to buy one, but I would need the biggest size and I don't know if it will be (another!) white elephant. Thanks for any help

I am a huge fan and have the standard one for two of us and it does enough casserole for 2 days. I used it twice yesterday and made eccles cakes and a cabbage, cheese and nut casserole. I honestly wish I had bought one as soon as they came out

I have had the standard sized Remoska for a few years and have now bought a large one. I use it mainly for stews and casseroles, although have made shepherds pie, jacket potatoes (these cook beautifully in it), pork chops, roast potatoes, etc.... You can cook almost anything in it, including toasted sandwiches and cakes (although I have never cooked a cake in it myself). I would recommend the Remoska to everybody, it is versatile, easy to use and so easy to clean.

Whenever I cook chops or chicken pieces in the standard Remoska I line the pan with tin foil (the foil sheets from Lakeland - they are quite pricey but I got my last lot half price because the box was a bit bashed). Once cooked, I remove the foil and have a completely clean Remoska pan!

It is such an easy way to cook.

I just love my Remoska and consider it money well spent, I have only put my oven on once and that was to cook a large frozen pizza.

I am so in love with my Remoska that I nipped onto fleabay and bought a recipe book containing 200 recipes the poor seller had purchased it but it only caters for standard and large and she has the baby one.

Because it is so economical to use, I shall suggest that my OH buys the giant one and takes it over to Spain to use in the flat, its got to be better than buying a whole new cooker. His dad chucked out the cooker because he didnt use it but there was nothing wrong with it and we used it all the time when we went over to roast chicken etc. A Remoska will be a better option plus its idiot proof.
