I have the standard moski and am enjoying learning to use it, however as I am cooking for one could I ask if it would be worth getting the shallow pan? Also how useful is the separator pan?0

Hi everyone
Just to let you all know we're very happy for Adrian to continue posting such fantastic customer service and helping you all out, although he now knows it needs a touch less advertising
He's asked to be able to post links to a couple of useful pages on the Lakeland website which we've said is fine.

Well having ploughed my way through all 57 pages over a few days, I have taken the plunge and ordered the grand, the rack and the shallow pan (had a bit of a bonus from work). My fan oven is a bit tempermental (sp?) so I have to turn trays round in the middle of cooking or else they scorch at the back.
Looking forward to experimenting - even if I still use the oven occasionally.
Did anyone get the heated clothes drier and if so, what's it like?“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

Hi there
I find both shallow pan and separator very useful. Shallow is quicker for stuff that doesn't mind being close up to the element, and you'll also see some contributions further up the thread where people cook 2 courses in the different pans. I use the separator to cook rice alongside curry type dishes - works really well.0 -
Okay I need to know... did one of us MSEers win the Remoska on ebay this afternoon that was listed as a Lakeland Mini Electric Oven, or something like that? It was one of the mini sized ones.
I nearly bid on it but I thought that as I currently have 2 people I cook for all the time, and another two on occasion, that I will wait a bit longer while I save my pennies / sell more stuff on ebay, then I will get a Grand. But I am certainly convinced!"...And if it don't feel good, what are you doing it for?" - Robbie Williams - 'Candy'0 -
We've decided to get a bit fitter and now set the remoska on a timer to cook tea while we go for a walk. tonight we did jacket potatoes and it was lovely walking into the house to smell them done.

Am SO upset I didn't buy the grand, there are just 2 of us, but I tend to batch cook and freeze lasagne/shepherds pie/pasticcio in foil trays and the large ones or 2 small ones don't fit in my standard! AARRRGGGHHHH! So I have to use the oven BOO!
Do you reckon lakeland would swap it?0 -

I would phone them to find out - their customer services department comes across as really helpful on here, so would give it a go. Good luckYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

Get them to take it back they have a brilliant guarantee if your'e not happy with the standard then they would let you return it anyway so I'm sure even if they won't swap(letting you pay the extra) then you could get a refund and go ahead and buy the grande.0
