Oh Joannasmum, that's a real nightmare.
Fortunately, Miss Twit is now 15 and I don't have to worry about childcare...now I just wonder where she is and who she is with.
It's amazing how the "ring me or else" text always gets replied to :D

    Hi everyone

Just joined you, no wine for me though please, started with the trots (I know TMI) this morning, so have slept/dozed/watched tv/slept/dozed etc., the day away, been OK for about 6 hours now so think its over, had a vew dry biscuits and unchilled water and a yoghurt and no adverse affect. A bit of an extreme diet don't you think.

Would go to bed but probably be up at the crack of dawn if I do.

Joannasmum - if there anyone who goes to the preschool club who lives near you, who would pick here up and deliver her to MIL's if it is the drive she dislikes?

    ((((hugs)))) all round. DG

Oh god I'm f***ed my MIL has just basically told us that she not happy to have dd after the summer holidays. Theres 2 childminders in the village and there both full. She has told me that she will continue until I get something sorted but that will obviously create bad feeling. We have always said that she shouldn't feel obliged to have her but also kind of thought that she would until she started school. She only has her 2 afternoons but its the pickups from the pre-school which will be a 20 minute drive that shes not happy with. What am I going to do. Stress, Stress

    Hiya!

Are there any mother and toddler groups locally? Other parents there may be able to offer advice...neighbour/friend etc? You could also try Social Services as they should have a list of people maybe more local than you think.

How far do you work? Au-pair possible?

Have had someone in the last hr pick up the items from Freecycle and they posted through a thank you card and £5 for DD...not had that happen before.

    Anyway night night.

    Evening

That was a long carboot! :)

Got a phone call from my ex while at the carboot this morning - has has given his notice on our house and is moving into a caravan for a little while so he can save up some money . Our old landlord asked him to give the cats back to the shelter so thats what he has done. Tomorrow, I will be asking my landlady if I can have a cat and going and getting Patch if she says yes (she is 12 years old, so I doubt she'll get out of the shelter again if I don't have her). I am not too worried about Sox, as he is only 3 and very cool, so I think he will be picked up quite quickly. If not, I think ex is going to try and sneak him onto the caravan site)

Anyway, he asked if I wanted to help him put the awning up for his caravan, so I said yes and we have just been chatting all afternoon. Plus he bought me fish and chips for tea :D

On an OS note...I bought a draught excluder for my letterbox today :p

Wow! Everyone seems to still be up!

I haven't had time to read all todays posts or post myself today as I was looking after my niece whilst my mother, sister and BIL did the local car boot (The Bowl for those in the area), then Mr Pippad, the two J's and I went to a local National Trust house as I was doing a mystery shop!

Anyway I just wanted to say Hello and Bye for a few days and we are off to my Grandmas' in Bacton tomorrow (nor burglars at my place please!) at 4:30ish (AM) so we can be in time for breakfast!

Right better go read the posts before I sneak into bed! Night all!
