    Hello everyone

Been having a lazy day as instructed by today's thread forum. Now would someone please pour me a glass of wine and tell me to drink it...:D:D

I have been very shameful and wasted a lot of electricity today. Firstly I was watching the telly (yes, on a beautiful sunny day like today) and the phone rang, so I put the telly onto mute. Then that telephone handset's battery ran out so I went upstairs to get the other handset, and then sat in front of the pc and fired it up and then finished the phone call, then lay down for a nap (see lazy!). Got up from my nap, saw my pc was still on so I sat and gawped at that for a long while, then went downstairs and the telly was still on but with the sound muted. D'oh!! I have no idea why I am so tired. I had my bloods done a couple of weeks ago so I'm not anaemic or anything. Maybe I'm just lazy? Think I shall have to stock up on Diet Coke or similar caffiene drink - that used to keep me from falling asleep at wo*k.

I'm expecting a call from my mother - she's currently watching Fair City (Irish soap, a bit like Corrie only with Irish people) and she really didn't want to speak to me while that was on. Nice to find out how important you are, isn't it?

Squiggly Diddly, I hope that you don't have a kidney infection - don't like the sound of that at all. Look after yourself.

LOL at Troo's piggies and their little water fight:rotfl::rotfl:

Suppose I should do something so that today isn't a complete and utter waste.

    Bye

    Snowy

Hello everyone. Today we went to see Wall-E for free at the local pics. Then we had a picnic seeing as it's summer today. As a special treat (and because I'm trying to empty the freezer!) I've made for the very first time, beef wellington. Fillet topped with mushroom mixture, wrapped in pancetta and then puff pastry - it was delicious, and it's something I've wanted to make for ages, but I think I'd prefer my fillet in brandy and peppercorn sauce in the future! This evening DS has gone to bed early and DD won't be far behind, I'm starting my new knitting project - a pair of knitted jeans for my friend's baby when he or she arrives.
Hope you've all had a happy and relaxing day, just as Sundays should be.

Oh god I'm f***ed my MIL has just basically told us that she not happy to have dd after the summer holidays. Theres 2 childminders in the village and there both full. She has told me that she will continue until I get something sorted but that will obviously create bad feeling. We have always said that she shouldn't feel obliged to have her but also kind of thought that she would until she started school. She only has her 2 afternoons but its the pickups from the pre-school which will be a 20 minute drive that shes not happy with. What am I going to do. Stress, Stress
