The ward have just called and they dont think its wise for me to go in as I have had a temperature since lunchtime. They are going to call me at 7pm to ask what it is and decide then. If I cant go in tonight, it will probably be after the holiday.

    Gutted...but relieved...lol

    Hugs to all.

    Afternoon all.

Don't need to really cook for myself this evening as I shall be heating up one of my portions of veggie casserole from the freezer :)
Have also come to the conclusion I really cant be bothered with work tomorrow, this new 2-10 shift is still making me incredibly tired, but alas I must go... On the upside, day off on Thursday so that's something to look forward to.

Hoping to try and get a weetabix cake or other similar loaf/cake thing baked tonight to cover the coming week at work...
    On the up :D

  • Back again.......

Made a lovely batch of choc brownies earlier, I've added the recipe to the recipe thread - they are scrummy.

Washing nearly done - Mt Everest to iron now  I've cleaned the kitchen and hoovered, just need to wash the floors, oh and I've stuck a loaf on for lunches tomorrow. Also need to put a load of meat in the freezer before it goes out of date.

Tru/Troo - I always thought you were Troo before you were Tru IYKWIM - don't know why  Anyway I was only wondering where you'd got to the other day - glad to see you back :T
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

Yep I was troo before tru - I had a good reason for the first change so admin changed it to tru for me. I missed my 'oo' but I don't think that's a good enough reason for admin to change it back so I started again. lol :D

Just to let everyone know that I did manage to cook everything I needed, don't have a lot of choice really, my oven door doesn't shut, so I cook in the remoska most days. If anyone has any questions ask away & I'll do my best to answer.
Today went fairly well, BIL wasn't very communicative with his mum, so in the end she asked me things & I told her as much as I could without upsetting BIL or her.
Hugs to PP, hope you have a good hols.

    Evening!

Another day at work done. Found some good jobs sites to look on, so fingers crossed.

The slow cooker's come back out today. No idea what's cooking in it, but I'll eat it!

Went out with Mum last night for a meal, it was lovely.

Well got some more work to do, so better press on

    Hope everyone's ok

Just back from family weekend away for BBQ and gathered all not well with you so backtracked to yesterday.

I am so sorry about your sad news, especially as one of the last posts I made on Friday was regarding your gorgeous new granddaughter.

You and your family are very much in my thoughts and hope the red tape is not too difficult.

    Love

    Hello:hello:

Got the washing done, nearly all dried now, sorted out the ironing pile for OH to tackle. Made some bread (in the remoska). Done various jobs in the garden. Just hoovered up the mud I'd walked into the house!:D

Need to get on with tea, trouble is I can't decide what to do (mainly because I don't want to make any effort:D). I got mince out of the freezer to make a spag bol, then changed my mind to meatballs, think I'm changing it back to do a very easy bolognaise. I'm on here stalling my decision! Must move though, OH will be home soon.
