thanks mary, i used brown and green gingham ribbon cut into squares and then stuck in alternating colours. I wanted it to look like the edge of a poker chip.

Just a thought but on the CITV channel today they were showing how to make door hangers using empty hook over shower gel bottles... I thought that was quite a nice idea. It was aimed at kids obviously and is unlikely to be as classy as all your lovely wooden ones but I though it was an interesting idea...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I've finally finished another 2 (just don't have as much time since going back to work!) ....................first one is for my lil bro who is mad on paintballing and all things armyfied! So I covered one in camo canvas, printed off a target pic and made a medal with 'Josh's Mess' (get the pun, mess as in his bedroom and mess for where the soldiers eat) for the first side, the other side got paintball splats on it, then added some Captain's stars and a veg bag as a cammo net tied on the side :rotfl::rotfl: Well I think it works
The other one is a bit unscheduled and may leave me short of hangers, but my friend split with her husband of 20 yrs and has just moved into her own flat, so I've done one as a housewarming pressie!Honorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts.
