FAO rainmac r.e. door hangers

Hello.
I love this idea, but never seem to manage to get around to buying the door hangers. However I have a heap of lolly sticks which I got in tescos as part of a huge craft pack. Whilst browsing for things to do on my sewing machine, I came across a website which showed how to make a hanger with some lolly sticks. I thought i'd post my find here, for those that have lolly sticks lying around.

I can't believe it, yesterday I even asked my sister to send me some lolly sticks and pom poms over, as I can't find them anywhere here.
To make the photo frames, I use 6 lolly sticks.
Firstly covering them with glitter, then making two triangles and placing them on top of each other, forming a star. The photo is then cut to size and glued onto the back of the star.
My daughter originally brought one home that she had decorated at nursery, so each year we always make a new one. I simply adore them, it is so nice to see how she has grown up each year.
I'm beginning to think that the spanish don't ever make ANYTHING, other than shout, talk very loudly, drink and eat!!!!A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -

candy - I daren't do anything else.................not only will I go nuts, OH will leave home and the kids will do a runner (methinks........not bad idea.........lol)
Ex foster lad couldn't make it yesterday as he wasn't well.........so this morning when everyone went out I fiddled with grandsons hanger again.
My cream organza ribbons fairly narrow and didn't look right with the bootlace - seemed to look to flimsy. So, I found some narrow dark brown ribbon I've got, wrapped the cream organza round then the dark brown and tied in a knot.
It's still ribbon and I just know OH will say 'oh ribbon -girlie' but at least its not so big and the colours are a bit more 'muted' than they were. I like it so grandson will have to like it too...........I'll tell him so.........lol:rotfl:
Still need to work out who the others are for that I've done - one for one of my sons, might so one for ex foster girl to hang on her dressing room (she's got big bedroom with extension for endless bags/shoes/clothes...........lucky thing!).
Was going to do one for other son's shed door but don't know yet and need to get christmas paper to do baby grandsons Santa Stop Here one.
So, I'm no near finished yet.............this rate I'll be doing them Christmas eve.............:eek:Mary

You're not finished Mary but you know where you are at and what you've got left to do. I so need a day to myself to sort everything out - not going to happen I know! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
