rusty - that's brilliant !!!:T Beginning to wish I'd done one of them.

Well, got bit further...........oh I do fiddle about............:rotfl: Decided on stripey one for grandson - eventually got the ribbons to tie ok (its a sort of rust/cream/beige/black stripey paper so I used rust and cream ribbon.
Got some letters from the craft shop in those colours but couldn't make out 'busy' in same colour so thats mixed colours (OH's idea !-I'm not sure) and put nuts and blts men piccys -one is sat at computer, other one is taking a hammer to it (know the feeling...........lol) On the other side I've put his name..........managed to get all the same colours for that and stuck them on a length of rust colour ribbon as the letters were cream and wouldn't have stood out very well.Looks quite smart -now not sure what to put on the side where his name is...........piccy's of some sort but don't know what -might have to delve into the 'nuts and bolts men' site again.................lol

I'm that thrilled with them - rainmac - thankyou -I'd never have done them if you hadn't started it off.........I know I cursed (oh how I cursed) but not any more................ll loving it............and got another three to finish and one I aint even started on yet for baby grandson.................:j

So pleased that you are so pleased with them :D I think it's great we are making pressies. Just hope they are appreciated ;)

Great hanger Rusty, I'd thought of doing one like that but have gone for a cammo one instead;)

Welllllll, you know those rub ons you posted? I bought 2 of the large size, 2 of the medium size and 5 of the small size in different colours, a rub on tool, some lacing brads, metal index tabs, 5 different Daisy Bucket small stick on stamps, a set of 8 Tia Bennett Doodle Baby stick on stamps and a sheet of Cloud9design Sorbet Sparkle cardstock......................am now a massive fan of Cloud9design!

I looked at UK prices and went for the average price of things (only looked up stuff quickly mind), the total came to £52.69. Including shipping (which looked quite high) I paid £28.39.

That all sounds so fab savvy and so much cheaper than UK prices :j Cloud9 stuff is really great isn't it. Ohhhh, I need to win the lottery...

Yeah never seen the Cloud9 papers before, so ordered one cos it looked different and more me...... and I was WELL pleased with when it came! So much so, after looking around UK online suppliers and not finding much choice at all.................I've gone back to the same site and ordered quite a bit off them again cos they have so much more choice :o

Ah I got most of my order in the 90% off clearance section, and when I went back again yesterday there wasn't much there, there were some good 75% off offers still though, but you really have to weigh up to see if it's worth for you. For me it was worth going back as they had a much better selection of Cloud9 in the 50% off section than I'd seen on UK sites

Anyway it may be a site to check out in future when they have more clearance offers, especially when they take off 90%!!! :T peekintoyesterday.com

Oh and forget to remind you ^^^^^ keep your parcel under £18 in value so that customs don't add on more money ;)

Put a few finishing touches to teenage grandsons door hanger this afternoon and OH decided to remark that the ribbon on it looked a bit 'girlie'............!! I was that miffed -I thought I looked ok. He reckoned I ought to not have anything tied on it at all but needs must to cover a few ragged edges. Apart from brown shoe laces I can't think of anything else to use.
Anyone got any alternative ideas ?
