  • Woohoo, I have started working on my first hanger!!! :D I have covered it (with the most gorgeous mushroomy paper) and the cutting went really well. I've just got to work out whether to write the letters on or cut them out. Can't find my camera, but I can take a blurry pic on my phone and try and put that up when I'm done. Can't say thanks enough to this thread for inspiring me! :):):)
  • Oooh look forward to seeing the pics Beltainebabe.

I have covered another this morning in bright yellow paper ... just need to print out my signs and see if I can make it work the way I want it to work :)

Been to the card shop, got some ribbon and now have a totally finished door hanger !!!!! Can't believe it..................mind you, don't like to work out what it cost in the end as I bought some more stick on bits for it this morning as well............lol (have to lots of cards with pink and purple on I think..........lol) - oh, haven't written messages on the card that fits in the pocket yet.............but at least not it looks like a door hanger !
Tied the ribbon round another one but didn't finish it off yet - not sure who's having the rest now so need to work that out first..
    I did know when I started and I've forgot............

Aha, thanks rainmac! I got the parcel yesterday, and even with the P&P I managed to save around £24 on UK prices for the stuff I ordered :p When the Americans have a sale, oh boy do they reduce their prices ;)

Wow savvy, what did you buy??? I buy Lizzie Kate cross stitch charts from ebay sellers in the US as it's cheaper than buying them in the UK, even with delivery.

Thanks for that tip you posted a while ago, I never knew about it before, but I went there yesterday and it is EXCELLENT! Spent ages there, too much stuff to choose from, but I got a bagful of bits to bring home. :D

I know, it's great isn't it :D Hoping to go one weekend before Xmas if only to stock up on glue and bits - but you know I'll never be able to go in there & just buy glue ;) :rotfl:

  • Door hanger for my SIL for christmas... she is 17 and her room is a complete pigstye and she always leaves dirty plates with mouldy food etc all over her room. The common said thing in the house is "Hope you've had your jabs before you go in there"
