Fab door hanger it's really different. Love the football boots where did you find them? Is the wallpaper easier to use than scrapbook paper?

Thanks Trisha, The boots are actually cake toppers. They came from a cake shop locally and were 70p for the pair.

I personally prefer to use wallpaper as I like to use pva glue and wallpaper can take the wetness of the glue without crinkling

Just a quick side on view of the boots. They even have the studs on the bottom lol please excuse my double sided pads, was the only way I could think of sticking them on

OOh i'll have to keep an eye out in the cake shop for some of those . They are great. I have2 goth ones to do god help me i bought the hangers ages ago and keep putting it off. bought lots of gems too. lol got some paper but not too sure so i'll try putting a pic on tomorrow.

rusty - how did you get your hanger so 'tidy' round the hole ? I used a craft knife and still got some rough bits (some worse than others !!)

Got them out this morning and did 'rainmac' style pocket on grandaughters, cut a piece of card to go in it and stuck some shoes and mobile phone embellishments on -then realised if I went any further I'd have no room for her name !!!!...................lol
Got the ribbon tied round ok so no problem there.
Had a look at grandsons and my word it looks rough round the edges........!!!
I'd printed off some images of nuts and bolts men doing computer stuff and stuck them on some leather samples (freebie board) that I'd got and don't know where to stick them ................
Didn't help having youngest lad at home and into everything............:eek:

I used a scalpel (OH's but Shhhh don't tell him lol) They are not perfect Mary. I screwed the back up so ended up just putting another layer on the top lol and it worked perfectly that time.

Started another one this morning in Pink but haven't got any further than putting the paper on and it looks rough so may start again


I got the leather samples aswell when I saw your post on one of the threads not sure what I will use them on yet but will find something

Yuck look at the state of my sofa :rotfl: Think I should start cleaning that rather than making anymore hangers lol

rusty - don''t mention cleaning ...................OH (bless him) has just hoovered the carpet and talk about moan !! My fault - of course - while doing my pickled bums I'd dropped a bit of the nylon tights on the floor which he has now hoovered up and had to unblock it......................:rolleyes:
I disappeared back to computer with great haste........................lol

That pink one looks ok to me .............apart from down one edge -is that where you mean ? The one I was doing for grandson is like that and I don't know what to do with it...............maybe he won't notice ??

Leather sampes were all a bit small weren't they. Still, always worth a try and they can be used on cards anyway

lol Mary send your OH up this way to vacuum please? I do it everyday and within 10 mins it looks like it hasn't been vacced for a week! the carpet is wick!

Hmmm it doesn't look as bad in the pic but in real life it is awful trust me!!! However this was one of my salvaged ones so I may well pull it all off and start again. I have enough paper to do so. Got my *warning* hanger to do aswell. Plan is black hanger with bright yellow diagonal stripes then try to find some kind of warning sticker or something to put on
