rainmac - thanks. I've got some ribbon wider than others so think I'll combine the two...............just need to get the right colours now.

cookiedough - I stuck my paper on the hanger with wallpaper paste -I'd mixed some up to cover a couple of shoe boxes. It worker ok -I'd made it quite thick. Otherwise I think I'd maybe have used PVA. Thicker paper is better....less risk of tearing (though I still managed it...........lol)

That's what I did Mary, used ribbon in different widths and also textures. Think they look really nice that way ;)

Here's a little Dr Who I've knocked up for my cousins 9th birthday. Excuse the messy work area!

The cyberman is a keyring I got for a pound from the Argos bargain clearance shop, press its top and it talks...

Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I am itching to make some more but have no hangers :( ... wonder if I can strip off the paper from the 2 disasterous ones? ... still haven't made one for sil as struggling to find the right print offs to use.
Think I may try and strip off the nasty paper and sand them down.

I'd do that, I've re-covered a few mucked up ones and they look fine ;)

Could you do a side that looks like a shed door (simliar to krystal's brilliant tardis)?

Sorry Rainmac, haven't got round to doing any more as yet. Been too busy doing other bits and bobs and trying to prepare nappy cakes for this weekend. oh and picnics in the rain with the children at the zoo (don't ask!)
Need to buy some paper, and strip my old ones still. Must start it soon though!
