not even remotely, how about saying what it was that made it a bad experience, instead of just naming companies you can pluck out of any tabloid classified section0 -
Oh we name and shame as well.
And if any of us ever ever ever find a non shonky DMC we'll put it up in lights - well on a sticky at the top of the board at least.
All the DMC's I have had any dealings with have been dodgy honey so that's all I can say about them. You'll have to take my word for it that I maintain an open mind on the subject though.

I suppose the problem is that the ones you have probably had dealings with are the ones who have approached you (in which case it was probably through a third party call centre - who tend to say anything to get you through on the phone to the DMC). We rely primarily on people approaching us, which immediately discounts the hounding calls and dodgy selling of little know legislation etc. so the only time you may get someone complaining is after they sign up with us, and even that is very low numbers.
Most peoples bad experiences are due to being contacted a lot prior to even signing up.0 -
If I was trying to do a sales pitch I would have named who I work for, all I have tried to do from the outset is state a case for why a few (admittedly small minority) DMCs can be a very good option. I am not saying that the C.C.C.S. isn't as they do very good work.
And it would have been seen as advertising and potentially pulled

Rakarth you really are a strange one, talk about move goal posts. you asked them to be named, i've named them. i was with 2 both shocking, both liars both did't look out for my interests at all.
debt free direct friend misadvised to have an IVA when a dmp much more appropriate
debt matters pretty much the same.

How about spending some time using our fantastic search facility... I bet you will get 1000's of hits listing bad experience after bad experience - and they will be VERY detailed.
Remember we're not trying to convince you of anything... You're trying to convince us and we're just about the toughest audience you could find on fee paying DMCs...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

how about telling us who you work for and extolling the virtues of that company. go on convince us.I suppose the problem is that the ones you have probably had dealings with are the ones who have approached you (in which case it was probably through a third party call centre - who tend to say anything to get you through on the phone to the DMC). Not so I'm afraid honey as I said earlier I rang a cross section myself whilst trying to decide what to do about our humungous debt.
I rang two today just for !!!!!! and giggles because they are being promoted on this board.
I got the usual routine of making big promises they can't keep, encouraging me to falsify my details, rubbishing all the competition, being pushy and telling me things I know are not true.
One of the blokes actually swore at me for "constantly f*cking interrupting" him when he's the expert and if I knew anything about finance at all I wouldn't be in this f*cking mess so I should shut up and he would tell me what to do.
Not a consummate professional huh?
I come across as very polite and girly on the phone and people tell me I sound younger than I am so I guess he thought he could bully me.

If you like I set a challenge pm me your company name and I will ring them get some independant advice, then I can ring CCCS and get some from them too - see who impresses me most! I have not dealt with CCCS personally so should be an experience.0

As somebody noted a couple of posts up I would get my posts pulled for advertising if I did that and tbh I don't have a particularly vested interest anyway as I am in the process of being made redundant, hence having so much time to type on the forums. The virtues of my company have already been detailed in previous posts as most of them are referring to us as opposed to DMCs in general. As far as I am aware we are the only people doing the whole switching/claims/legal etc stuff as well as being a financial company not just a DMP/IVA company.0
