Tim sells this brand, so wont be able to comment directly due to forum rules. It should be fine, but like Tim says, check the seller in case it's a dud or reject/second hand.
I didn't say to check them out to see if they were rejects. What I said was to check the seller out because they don't have previous feedback for selling beds (or as far as we can tell because their feedback is private). Try contacting their previous customers.
I shouldn't think that they are second hand, as they wouldn't have so many for sale. There is a possibility that they could be seconds, but unlikely as it could cost them a fortune in returns.
My only concern is because of the feedback (but we all have to start somewhere). When I was new to ebay someone hijacked my ebay account and tried to sell jet skis (that obviously didn't exist). So to be on the safe side just send a couple of their previous customers an e-mail.0 -

...however, there is a HUGE thread called 'Which mattress?', which would be a great place to start, and shows you who are good VFM and who are most certainly not.
If hubby's got sciatica, i'd honestly consider investing in something a little less cheap than you'd budgeted for. It will help support his back and aid sleep. A poor mattress may even worsten the condition
I would suggest you'd be able to get a decent, supportive double mattress for £200ish, but if you can stretch your budget you should get a decent one that will help hubby for £300-350.
No offence, but i'd ignore the link in the previous post, you may find a bargain but not one that will last or help hubby. What is your budget?

I have noticed more complaints recently about Myers, but they seem to be keeping Staples as their quality bed company. So it all depends on where they see Slumberland in their group. If they are going to be the lower end of the three, then you might be better off shopping around again.:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. Hi there,
thanks for your reply my budget is about £300 and i can stretch it a bit. Ive been to dreams and looked at a few other places and just an ordinary matress is around £300 -£400.
I do know you have to pay more for better but money is very tight and a matress is at the top of our list for what we have to buy.
Thanks for all your advice x
You got any ideas where id get a matress for this price and a decent one?'Decent' and 'not expensive' don't often go hand in hand im afriad, you tend to get what you pay for...

Hi everyone,
I'm currently considering buying a pocket sprung mattress with a 2" layer of memory foam on both sides.
I've tried read all the posts on here, but it's taken a considerable amount of time, especially considering there's so much whinging and arguing going on (which was mildly entertaining at first but then just became annoying as it makes the whole thread so long).
My concern is that my bed has a slatted base. Here is a pic (although I didn't buy it form this company)

Does anyone have a pocket sprung 1500 spring mattress on a slatted base? Is it ok, or do the springs start to sag through the gaps!!
I was also wondering if having a memory foam layer on the bottom may make this problem worse?
Finally, does anyone own the La Romantica Madrid or Venice, as I was just wondering how sof/medium/firm they actually are (I read somewhere that memory foam on both sides can actually make a mattress softer).
Thank you.0 -
I have been quoted £239 for a 4'6" memory foam mattress by the above. It is on their website under MEMORY 250. Can anyone tell me their experiences of the company. (They are within Carpetright stores) Also would this type of mattress be suitable for use on a metal bed frame with sprung slats? Hope someone will be able to help.I may not have thanked you but I meant to, honest!0
