If you're not bothered about quality, but you want big, you'll easily get it for that budget! Will try find something for recommendation...

Well quality is all relative, but im more than happy with my recently purchased mattress for £600 and you'd be able to get a base for the other £400.

I would recommend a sprung base. Pocket sprung mattress (and memory foam if you like the feel) and not by Silentnight/Rest Assured or Sealy.

    Why not these 3 makes:confused:

They are all part of the same group now, and I personally have experienced their poor manufacturing quality. My Silentnight king size mattress only lasted 2years and they would only replace it if I gave them almost £300 towards the new one, yet I only paid £250 for it origionally

Not impressed with quality or customer service, and I have not been alone in my concerns with the group.

For the reasons given before I wont recommend exact makes and brands on here. Maybe suggest which ones you are interested in and we can warn you if they are poor quality/vfm? Sorry to be so vague, I just dont want to break any forum rules by suggesting any particular beds or suppliers.

Hi, like most other people on the forum I am now armed with all the info I need about buying a mattress. My only problem is that I can't get the brand I want delivered over here in Northern Ireland, and the stores near me only seem to sell Sealy/SN etc. Does anyone have any comments on the following two brands:
    Myers
    Relyon
I know a local retailer sells both but don't want to go looking until I know a bit more about them

I think for the same reasons as I stated above, let's leave the decision of who to use to the OP, not promoting or disregarding anyone directly unless you've had a personal bad experience with either?!

As long as the right mattress information is being used, the OP can decide what is the best deal for them.

Why are you to telling me what I can post on here? I thought we were allowed to post our views as long as we arent selling something. Im not selling anything just saying where I think is a good place to buy a mattress. Are you a mod? Only I don't see it in your signature?

I recommend www.mattressman.co.uk because I bought a mattress from them and I'm pleased with it. They gave me good service and a good price including next day delivery. I heard bad reports about !!!!!!!!!!!

My views and I'm as entitled to them as you are to yours. I hope you dont delete my post because it goes against your view.
