We have just added more slats to our pine bed so we def want pocket sprung. What about this one:

I've been into Dreams and Tim is right - they will tell you whatever tosh they think will sell you a bed.0 -

You wouldn't be too happy if they turned up to deliver you brand new expensive bed, and right next to it was an old stained, flea bitten, rotton, smelly mattress would you?
Tim,
Hadn't thought of that. You'd never know if the previous person they delivery to and collected from gave them a flea ridden bed to take away.0 -

The first one isn't pocket sprung, it's open coil sprung. Also it doesn't even mention the density of the memory foam.
The second one isn't opening properly.
You shouldn't rush buying a mattress, or you could make a mistake that you have to live with for a few years.
If I were you I'd go to Tescos and buy a double blow up mattress for about £15. I know they aren't ideal, but it gives you something to sleep on while you choose a mattress carefully.0 -

Thanks for your help Tim. What do you think of the Myers brand? I know they are not pocket sprung, but the 5ft Myers Grandeur Latex & Memory Foam Mattress looks very good with two different sets of springs.
We do have the blow up mattress at the moment, but I would rather just get the mattress ordered and out of the way...have spend enough time on it already!0 -

The other company now uses this logo:
However even though Kozeesleep were the original company, you can now find mattresses with the same name for sale from both companies. However the spec isn't the same.
I've found the Kozeesleep website that you mention but nowhere where it gives prices or do you buy them from a retail outlet?
Still trying to find a mattress with double sided memory foam
Also a lot of manufacturers mention memory foam but around springs??? I'm assuming that this is different to a layer on top??0 -

Where did you find the listing for this mattress? There seems to be some conflicting information. One listing says it is medium, but another says it has 12.5gauge bonnell open coil springs, which would make it firm, or at the very least medium to firm.
If you don't like being hot in bed, then you may find a total of 90mm (3.5") of foam too warm.
Myers are really the cheaper side of Staples. Many bed companies trade under two names so that they can have a quality company, and a run of the mill company.
Personally I wouldn't pay that much for an open coil sprung mattress.0 -

Bed company web sites don't usually state prices because they don't sell direct to the public. Also a lot of manufacturers mention memory foam but around springs??? I'm assuming that this is different to a layer on top??
It is reflex foam around the springs, not memory foam. The memory foam is still on top.
This type of mattress doesn't use the normal pocket springs. Instead it used much smaller springs, so it is really still reflex foam/memory foam, but with a few small springs in so that they can say it contains them.0 -

I know you can't recommend brands so I'm just gonna ask about the specs ...
