You can, but the mattress won't last as long. So you would need to lay a sheet of peg board (or hard board) over the slats to spread the weight out.0 -

After reading some of the info in this thread about sealy becoming part of silentnight and quality, I wondered if I should be put off? Also - if the very well informed Tim has any info above the good marketing spin it would be most useful
I think think you have answered your own question0 -
Well, I ordered a La Romantica, Venice, double from Bedkindom.co.uk.
They were the only ones I could find that would deliver to Ireland.
Will let you all know how it is when I get it, soon I hope.0 -
This is a massive thread so forgive me if this has already been answered. I have just noticed there seem to be 2 companies called KozeeSleep, one in Yorkshire and one in the Midlands. Can anyone enlighten me?0

The original Kozeesleep is the one in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. The one in the Midlands used to be part of the same company, and was run by the cousins of the Yorkshire Kozeesleep. Then they fell out and split the company in two. The one in the Midlands is now actually Kozee Sleep. From feedback I have heard the one in Yorkshire is slightly higher quality.0 -
No, not ordered yet. Waiting for a call on Monday to confirm when the frame would be available (only had doubles instock) before making any decision.
It was definitely one of the firmest mattresses I tried. This link from Kaymed themselves suggests there are two versions:

are the specs on there any easier to gauge?
Thanks for taking a look Tim, you do a great service on this forum.

Hi Tim,
Sorry to be a pain - did you have any thoughts on this? Got a call today that the frame would be available in 5' in less than 2 weeks so quite tempted to go ahead... but would really appreciate your opinion.
Cheers,

Hi Steve.
It seems very good for the price except for the density of the foam and being non turn.
It's the lowest price I've ever seen a Kaymed mattress for.0 -

Thanks Tim,
Given the 5 year guarantee I think I'll give it a go.

I'm still looking for the chrome one. However there are similar ones in Chrome available on line.
Hi Tim, just wondered if you had had any luck finding the chrome bed or should I just bite the bullet and buy the expensive one?
Thanks for looking!
