Which mattress? (merged threads)

The pocket master is higher priced and has a better spec sheet, but obviously the caversham is under-sold on the website. Sounds like a recommendation then!
Where is the Pocketmaster higher priced??
There is actually 25% difference in the trade price, so it looks like someone has priced it wrong.
Personally I still recommend smaller independent manufacturers as you get more for your money.0 -
The Caversham was priced at £214 on Bed Kingdom I believe (didnt check size now I think on it) but the pocket master was £290 ish for King.:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. I meant to write should I go for a memory foam medium firm (not soft) instead of medium with PS? Is there much difference between these two? The one I intend to buy is medium with 1200 PS and the medium firm one is 800. I was told the 1200 should be better but the mattress is medium .Thanks0

It depends on the make and model, and also on personal preference.0 -
I just recntly bought a pocket sprung Highgate which was supposed to be £700 and I paid £170 for it at our independently owned bed shop in arlisle. It is definitely the best mattress I have ever slept on. It's really thick and soft to sleep on. I was going to get a memory foam but as I am only 7 stone 2 I couldn't find one that would be comfortable enough and didn't want to order offline incase I didn't like it xxIpoints- Cashed in for prezzybox and amazon items - 1,983 now. £50 Amazon voucher

£700 for a Highgate? I think that may have been an exageration. What model was it?0
