check out mattressman seems to come recommended by mse users

    http://www.mattressman.co.uk/all/divans/divans/single/P0S0/view_single_divans.aspx

Mainly recommended by you under your various MSE log ins.

They have had some good reports, but have also had some bad ones on MSE.

You may still find the mattress very comfortable. However you won't be benefiting from the memory foam. So you have basically just got a memory foam mattress now.

Well I believe that I am benefitting from the memory foam and the mattress as a whole, despite having the electric blanket and very thin duvet on top of the mattress. It has a totally different feel to any other mattress. We can also feel the benefit of the foam pillow despite having the other soft duck feather pillow on top of it -that too has a totally different feel.

If we feel very comfortable and we now don't have aching bones and this is the comfiest bed we've ever slept in, then we have achieved what we set out to do. As I've gathered from a lot of the threads on here, a comfortable bed is very subjective - how you get is doesn't really matter.

My only concern is that you may void your guarantee if you have any problems with the memory foam, as all the advice is against using an electric blanket. The effect you will get is that of a mattress with pocket springs, and a thin layer of low density reflex foam.

...and the electric blanket will heat up to way higher than body temperature, so the memory foam's tolerances will be compromised and probably reduce it's effectiveness over time and could distort it to even make it uncomfortable.

Well perhaps this is a different way of getting the best out of the mattress - the effect we are getting is one of pure heaven ;)

Who cares - it may not damage the mattress!! Which is more important a good night's sleep or worrying about some warranty!!!

Anyway, the electric blanket is only on for a brief while to take the chill off!!

    Just found this:-

    2.
Can I use an electric blanket? In the long term it can break down the memory cells, but is ok to use one just to warm the bed and not leave it on all night.

    15. Is it alright to use an electric blanket with my Memory Foam Mattress?
We do not recommend using electric blankets with the Lifestyle Mattress. Exposure to direct heat over extended periods of time can cause damage to memory foam. Once you are in bed, the mattress will warm up quickly in response to your body heat. If you do choose to use an electric blanket to warm your mattress before bedtime, we recommend that you turn it off after 20 minutes or so to avoid overexposing the memory foam to heat.
