My christmas present to myself cost me a grand total of £66.06 Top, skirt, shoes and some thick tights. It's first outing will be when I go for a meal at Franks parent's house and then again when we go out with his best friend and girlfriend.

Top can be worn with jeans, skirt can be worn with a shirt for work and the shoes can be worn with just about everything in my wardrobe :j

I got Franks parents some Latte mugs from asda (£3) some kenco latte stuff that they love (£3) and some thorntons chocolates which I think were £2.50 and tried my hardest to make it into a hamper! I keep on looking at it and feeling I need to add more to it but I've only met them a handful of times (shameful as we've been going out for a year) but I don't really know what they like to add to it. If you get what i'm rambling about!

I get most of my clothes from matalan, but I got all my stuff from asos yesterday. I got some bargains from asos red, a Junk Food top marked down from £28 to £11.75 (i think)

I had a slight guilty twinge when I saw my bank balance (i did cancel one order so I have that to go back in) but i'm really looking forward to my treat :D

Oh awesome thanks, I'll maybe ask him and give the hamper idea a thought!! his mum and dad are divorced so maybe a bunch of girly things and a munch of guy stuff...? I got lost on Iwantoneofthose.com last night for ages finding cool stuff but the delivery is quite expensive. there is a 10% off code somewhere though I think - but I lost it by accident (and all the stuff in my basket!!) when my battery died.
How is the bank balance? and the savings one?
I'm too scared to look at mine - One is low, and thats ok but the other is so far in the overdraft I'm scared to look at it and I am going to HAVE to STOP using it :( I dunno. shouldn't really need to buy anything today but I'm going to look at presents for my dad on my way to uni so maybe... grr. After christmas I must start being way mroe proactive. think i'm going to start a new style thing with my money for the next semester - like possibly give myself a set amount by standing order for each month to cover rent and then anything I want/need to buy. I don't know how much though. Last year I think I had £700 per semester to spend (after all of my rent was paid) but I think i could manage with about £500 maybe now...
    I know I'm rambling sorry!!
    See ya later!

I'm refusing to look at my bank balance after today until next friday when my wages go in :o spent alot this week and I'm guessing another £30 today on food and other things I've just remembered we have to take with us (washing up liquid, toilet roll ect) and taking £50 with me 'just incase'

You can make money saving your new years resolution or something. I've given up on mine (again) so I'm starting again in the new year. Hopefully we can give eachother kicks up the bum when we need it and a neat little clap when we're going well!

I think it's too hard to worry about money at christmas, just even more stressful as you never keep within budgets so i'm constantly dissapointed with myself!! :rotfl:

Awesome!! I can't remember when the holiday is but I'm guessing now seeing as you haven't been around (master sleuth Tink reveals all!)
I hope you have a really good time and everything :) I still wish I was going away but hey... I went in the summer and had an awesome time (but I think thats why I want to go again! get away from all of the rain!)
Not a lot happening here moneywise, except I don't really have any :( but hey! Used lots of coupons in a tesco shop yesterday with dad and that made me feel better but it wasn't my money but they were my coupons some of them!!
Hopefully a million pounds will land on my head today - or maybe just I'll find a penny in the street :) sort of secretly hoping for a nsd but I have no where to go so I think it might be likely!! :)

I'm back!! We had a very MSE weekend, only spent about £15 myself and Frank didn't spend much all petrol and oil for his car. Treated ourselves to dinner out on sunday too.
The car did break down on saturday  he drove through a massive puddle in high gear and flooded the engine. It was peeing it down but we managed to flag down some people and a lorry driver who helped push it to the side of the road. Got a lift back to the caravan site with the lorry driver and I got dry while he fretted and walked back to fetch it later (thankfully it started!!) Went walking in eskdale and the sea front was really nice! Good to get away for a couple of days. Back home and we have a full house. Missing the little caravan by the sea now! :rotfl:

Well done on your coupon shopping, Tink! :j

Opened my post from the weekend this morning, My £10 topshop voucher came through from pigsback. Which can be spent at a bunch of other shops too. Just got into work and found two £10 lovetoshop vouchers on my desk which Dad said came in the post yesterday from a supplier so I've been given those too! Going to save them for my sale shopping in the new year. I think I might pass one on to my mum though so she can treat herself!

Spent my £10 amazon voucher last night getting Frank some new books (finally got him into reading!) so 2 books came to a total of £1.98 with postage which is pretty good going, I need to get back onto dooyoo later on today though.

    Awesome!!
Do you use dooyoo for amazon vouchers? because I've not tried it yet - don't think I'm very good at reviews (I never managed bview :( ) but theres this other site I've just joined - its a bingo one so you might have to be 18 but i dont know sorry.. and you get points for just posting in the forum (literally about pretty much anything!) and points for doing little surveys and all that. It's called bing0p0rt (if you get me) and if you are interested let me know cos I can get points for reffering you I think!
Anything you can tell me about dooyoo btw? because I am sort of interested, i used to have a stash of amazon vouchers on my account but I've spent them all now (just in time for when I want to buy something - typical)

I don't know about pigsback - I've been a memeber for about a year and had quite a lot of vouchers but I really think they've gone downhill and I think I'll quit after my next voucher (I have about 900 points I think) because it just seems like way too much effort once you've done all of the main offers and I don't really shop online millions (I try not to really shop at all!!) So I don't know, it is nice to get vouchers though.. Are you going to stick withthem?
    I'm rambling now sorry!
Bought my second to last family xmas present yesterday! Just need to get this one from amazon now (I don't think I'll get it in time though so I'm going to wait and use my voucher from the bingo site and see if I can use that for it and just give it a bit late lol) haven't got anything for the boy's family yet though - I said he can do theirs and I'll do mine but I think he might need some help as he will probs forget :(
Ah well! I've got some revision to do today but apart from that I'm a free agent really!! woop woop!
I'll check back in later though - and tell me stuff about dooyoo if you can please!!
