Thanks Nicki!!
I'm doing rubbish on my £10 a day. Although I did get £23.00 for a book off amazon yesterday. I just can't be bothered when I get home most days.:o It's nice going shopping with your mum though, I went to lakeside shopping centre-thingy yesterday with mum and ended up coming home with new shoes (£2.50 vans like pink slip ons) which is always a bonus!
I ended up missing most of wife swap too, Frank rang after he got in from work just as I was getting settled! :rotfl: I did watch that period drama on BBC 1 though, which was kind of confusing.
Just rang the bank up and I've got £207, mightily chuffed! I've never managed to stay over the £200 mark after a weekend and today is looking pretty good on the NSD front. I've got my homemade lunch in the office fridge and I've managed to sponge lifts to and from work as well. Here's to another week!!0 -
I have no idea how I'd make £10 a day. I sell a few books on Amazon, but I know I couldn't be bothered to do the clickback sites.
With your bank account, can you look online to see how much you have in your bank? Congrats though, £200 is fantastic.0 -
Well I put a bunch of books on amazon on the 3rd, or something like that and that's the first I've sold
I really need to set up online banking for myself! I had the option when I went for my visa but I turned it down. I'm fine with either ringing up or walking down to my local cash point to see how much jingle I have though, so I've yet to be completely pushed in that direction.0 -
They do come like buses. For instance between 9th-10th September I sold 4 books, but hadn't for a few weeks before. It also depends what type of books, at the moment only student/A Level/textbook type books are selling.
But keep going with it though. I also have things registered on Play.com and have yet to sell anything!0 -
It was one of Frank's old student books that sold. The other books I've put on are mainly chick-lit so I wasn't really expecting them to move too quickly.
Frank's managed to make an extra £140 since august on play.com selling games he doesn't want, and he sold his psp on there too. I suppose the trick is to try and keep your prices the lowest on amazon market and play.com0 -
Yes, although some of mine aren't simply because I wouldn't cover costs otherwise.
I've tried to sell CDs/DVDs on play but I think because they're fairly common and oldish, that nobody wants them0 -
Amazon do seem to take silly charge amounts off what you sell, where as I think it's a standard rate on play? I could be wrong!0
-
No, I think you're right. Although I still find Amazon the best for textbooks0
-
Indeed!! Although the books I'm trying to sell have lowest prices of a penny. Which is quite annoying really!
Can't wait to get home from work today, completely not in the mood for it. Just want to get home, get into my jammies and slllllleep. :wall:0
