Apologies if this has already been discussed but i am considering buying my euro's for forthcomig holiday through one of the online currency exchange centres eg Crown currency / Interchange FX; all which give much better rates than going to eg Thomas cook on the high street even when you add in the £5 delivery charge. Has anyone any exerperience of using these? Are there any risks to using them? Are they reliable? I worked out that i would save about £20 on £1000 - if they are this good, it seems a no-brainer!!
    cheers, Mike

Do a search for Crown Currency and you will find all previous posts.

Hi, I have a Travelex Euro prepaid Cash Passport, bought in September 2009. I still have about 28 Euro on the card and am worried about getting charged the inactivity fee come September this year as I will not be using the card again this year. Does anyone know of a way to get the money off the card ?

    Thanks
  • having taken out the santander creditcard i was told in branch that if you top up the card in advance (i.e. have a positive balance on the card) there is no charge at all as you do not even incur the interest charge. though it may be useful to some of you.

The Visa network plus these mutually supporting partners

I'm not clear what these partners offer over and above what is offered by any VISA card.

  • I am looking to buy euros on a semi regular basis. I have done some research and seen the main contenders.....HIFX, Moneycorp and Forex.

Can someone please help me, as I'm struggling to decide which one is the best, for rates, and service?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi all

If i load up my santander zero card with cash and use it as a kind of debit card whilst abroad will i incur any charges? My Nationwide Flex account makes a charge to use abroad now, so looking for ways to spend my money abroad and avoid the charges.

    Thanks

Check the T&C's of your card as most don't allow you to have a positive balance.
