    HOW IT WORKS

From Monday, in each day's Daily Mail, we will be printing a voucher. Simply cut it out and take it to your local branch of Tesco, WHSmith or Eason where in return, you will be given that day's DVD.

I think to get part 2 of Pride and Prejudice you have to print a voucher and take it to Tesco or WH Smiths

To clarify any confusion over this entry: You do NOT "print a voucher", you cut-out a voucher printed in each day's Mail for the appropriate DVD.

(Apologies to those who knew the obvious 'how it works'.)

Any ideas how I can get yesterday's voucher for Pride & Prejudice? I don't want to send £7 for the whole set, just want Mr Darcy!!!(I've got part 1)

It's worth going in WH Smiths to see if they have any of yesterday's DVDs left. I went in late afternoon yesterday- they had no Daily Mails left, but the woman just gave me a copy of the DVD anyway, which was really nice!! There were loads of them by the till.

I’m not 100% about which versions, but I expect most are correct.

Not all are of BBC source/quality!

I've just discovered that the same BBC versions are also in a CURRENT DVD/Partworks series (expected to run to about 50 discs/books) at £7.99 each disc ...
    https://vault2.secured-url.com/gefabbri/classicdrama/backissues/index.asp
That must be very annoying for those who subscribed to that series!

Perhaps The Mail will find this another "unprecedented demand" and extend it beyond the planned 18 discs. My WHS ran out yesterday before 12.00, therefore none left for the lunchbreak customers - ouch!

I get most of mine that way too, usually pay 10p each. But if a DVD is a pick up only one most of them are picked up by people who actually want them so very few end up in charity shops. Worth a try though, you never know.

it is worth trying ebay, you don't have to pay much more than a weekend paper, if you kept it on a permanent search, they'd email you when the dvd came up for sale.
