As a 'newbie' I find it very useful to work through previous entries to see what I've missed on DVD, then you know what to look out for at charity shops or bootsales (or, dare I say, to search on eBay). Please save relevant entries.

Did anyone get the Mail's Mills and Boon DVDs, what were they like?

I am keen for the old threads to be kept as well. I often look back at what's gone out previously.

Further to fluffykit's post, I found this on the Mail website :
    "
Last week, Genesis released a lavish new DVD, When in Rome 2007, featuring the Rome show in its entirety, together with a revealing behind-the-scenes documentary of the entire tour.

To coincide with the film, The Mail on Sunday will next week give away a specially commissioned CD of Genesis music, including Turn It On Again, Follow You, Follow Me, Mama, Abacab among many others.
The track listing was selected by Tony Banks who, along with Mike Rutherford and former lead singer Peter Gabriel, founded the band at Charterhouse School 40 years ago. "
    Au Res.,

As someone who is a major contributer to this thread I PERSONALLY would like to see it stay the way it is with all past information retained.

When I'm at home (actually in Sri Lanka as I type) I usually create the DAILY NEWSPAPER SUMMARY on Discount Codes/Vouchers and any known CDs & DVDs in newspapers and magazines are ALWAYS posted there - on the day that they are given away. The thread rarely gets longer than a couple of pages (occasionally 3) and need never be seen again if that is your choice.

Regards today's MAIL on SUNDAY CD - GENESIS.

If anyone has got or can obtain a spare copy of this - I'd be most grateful !!!!

Probably my favourite band of all time. Last year went to see them at BOTH of their UK performances Old Trafford on Saturday and then Twickenham on Sunday. BRILLIANT !

I agree - pls keep it as it is - just start on the last page, which is easy to select if you've subscribed to the thread.

  • Sorry I'm coming into this a bit late but I think it's very important all the old posts are retained.

My reason is that anyone who misses out on a CD or DVD can scroll back through the thread to see what they've missed and then look for them on e-bay.

I was in hospital when the Telegraph gave away one of their audio book collections last year and this thread helped me to locate the titles and sure enough I picked up a set on e-bay for a few quid.

    Anyway back to business:

Tomorrow's Elton John CD with the Sunday Express is a live recording of his recent "Red Piano" tour.
