Just been skimming over this thread and wanted to say good luck with the GP smoking cessation referral.

I went to Fresh Start in June 2005, decided enough was enough and quit the day I walked into the first session, it was tough going but I had a plastic ciggy (omg they are brilliant) and kept it for 6 months, I personally needed it and kept it longer than I should have but I am proud to say I have not smoked since June 05.

It really is possible and you will not believe how much money you will save its the best thing for your pocket and health.

I had been smoking since I was 14 with a break when I had my 1st daughter in 2002 but by the time my 2nd one came long in 2006 I was smoke free mum.

    Go for it !!!

    K xx

An update - transfered £700 from capital one to DH barclaycard at 0% for a charge of £17 (less than a months interest)

On a not so good point DH bet £80 online in the middle of the night - thankfully he won £100 - which he then spent on food and booze. He only told me cos he thought I might wonder where the food had come from, I think he needs more training!

Hey ! I`m keeping an eye on you !

Gambling ? :naughty: (Even if you do win).

    Switching the CC ? :T

Now, if you can cut back on DH`s "silly" spending/gambling for a few months, and get that £700 down to £0, then it`s  (only one or two though).
30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.
