Probably not a good idea as you could get into trouble with MSE. It's probably better to just report all posts to MSE abuse. If someone is breaking the rules (and I'm pretty sure there's a forum rule about bumping posts unnecssarily) then the MSE abuse team should deal with it.

What is equally annoying as bumped posts is the thread being bumped again by someone telling people not to bump.

I just wonder if Now Magazine and Good To Know are both same company?? Ive always used both the entered competition all the times but never won it.

Like today, 5.45PM - I'm trying to work through todays new competitions and, lo and behold, the Real People comps and That's Life comps from yesterday have been bumped by people simply saying Thanks or Good luck or whatever! To name but a few.

Perhaps if everyone who ends up looking at comps three or four times over because they have been bumped, PMed the bumpers, they would get the message and stop doing it?

Sorry for rant but it takes me long enough to get through a days comps in the evening without having to go through ones i've already been through!!!

Edit: Take a Break issue 10 from 2 weeks ago has also been bumped! 2 damn weeks!
Edit again: Sunday PM someone has bumped a TAB comp from 6th March. And the OP has thanked them for it. WHY?! On both counts. Are they extracting the urine?!

I've started subscribing to the posting as well as thanking.I can then see straight away that i have entered.

sorry to ask this on here but cannot find anywhere to ask??
I have just got a new laptop and have started doing comps again and want to thank everyone that posts them, BUT it only lets me do it occasionally and then every so often moneysavingexpert says I am not permitted? (get the vBulletin) Its really annoying me now and wondered if there is anything I can do? I actually think that even though I get the error message it still lets me thank but its every two or three that I do which is very time consuming now and frustrating!!

you may be best asking this on the site faq and feedback board to let them know you are having problems as it may just be a glitch on their site since updates

Much appreciated as I am so far behind with Comps, that I'm not even going to try to catch up, just do the ones from here on in so may have missed stuff if it was only posted on the comps threads!
