and it can't go 'sky high' because of atkins.
I know i had read that in the book but both people said it went sky high and they were normal before atkins. I would liek to get mine checked cause mine was really good a few years back.Atkins started 26 Jan 09 so far lost 14lb 7lb to go0 -
When I last did Atkins properly my cholesterol was 3.9 that was approx 3 yrs ago. Then I ate normally and gained weight and it is now 6.1 so guess what I think?
I think Atkins lowers it. My doc also told me it was genetic but my mums wasnt high-dunno about my dads. I think its diet!
Eek I was naughty today as ds gave me an Iceland magnum! I did look at the box and the carbs are about 24. That is my only slip.
Breakfast was cheese and ham omellete
dinner/tea was a bowl of leeks with cheese sauce(cheese and cream). snack of 2 slices of corned beef and a piece of cheese.Ive also had approx 40ml of milk so its at approx 30g total which is naughty but not life threatening.
Ive been on induction 2 weeks now with a few slipups so from tomorrow I want to do 2 weeks of proper induction!Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0 -

Last June, my chloresterol and Tryglycirides were nearly off the scale much to my Dr and my horror/shock. have been low carbing ever since. After 3 months was re-tested and in the Dr words ´Perfecto´. To my mind low carb did the trick0

Glad to report I'm eating less cos I'm shopping and cooking less so there's less to eatNot going hungry though. Made a bakewell tart last for a treat so that's dinner sorted, out from work til late tonight.
Still not revisited the curry, too depressing  So having salads for lunch for a change. Yesterday chicken based, today l/c sausage based.
Yum.

Have a good day all!

Happy Shrove Tuesday everyone :hello:
So who is going to be having pancakes tonight?! Not me!! I can only eat mine with syrup & sugar so even if the pancakes were l-c the toppings certainly wouldn't be!! And, as you all know, I don't know when to stop eating!!:rotfl:
So, menu for today
B - blues/rasps & cream
L - tuna salad with HM coleslaw (same as yday)
D - bolognaise with errrr cheesy leeks?!
avstar I will give up something for Lent but need to have a think about it? Opened a new packet of peanuts last night & a bottle of red wine  obviously not very MSE to let them go off  so will come back to you on that one.0 -
