    Morning!

Been v busy this weekend. I've stayed mainly low carb despite a chinese meal Saturday and some V Day chocs. Had lost 3lb Friday, from week before so not too worried. I'm trying to think less about food and it seems I'm eating less because of it.

Hope you all have a great day!

You don't have any control over what life throws at you.
You DO have control over how you react :)

My littlest listens to his very fussy sister and now says all food except chocolate is yukky. So yesterday i made a batch of quiche 'muffins' and left them out to cool. Tim (3) found them and helped him self to the lot he ate them all- well okay he left me one! I'm so shocked. We've have quiche as a family loads of times and all the kids eat is the pastry! So now I know what to make him in future!

DD has gone to brownie camp, and DS1 has gone to my Mums. So me and DS2 are feeling so lost without them.

On a good note I've lost 2 pounds. Question for the Ladies- do you lose the water retained by TOTM during or after it has finished?

Well done on the losses, ladies! Mercy, you must have had a will of iron to eat low-carbish at the Chinese. I avoid it altogether. :(

Ethansmum, I don't get TOTM or any periods at all - a lovely benefit of an IUD. :D

    Yesterday for me:

    B: none
L: aubergine Parmigiana (made an extra one the night before and stuck it in the fridge), salad; square of 70% choc
D: HM mushroom soup; sausages, cauli mash, cabbage

I get my supplements from Healthspan too but, like Saz, I dunno if they're the best or the cheapest. Efficient service and delivery though.

I've got exactly 10 weeks today to reach my (interim) goal. 11 and a half pounds to lose over 10 weeks is eminently doable, if I'm good.

It's only my interim goal, shy, before I go away for a few days at the end of April. There'll be more work to do after that to get to proper goal. :o
  • Well, I've stood on the scales again this week and I've put on 1lb:mad:
I'm getting really miffed now. I have stuck to atkins... eating less than 20g carbs a day. I've cut down on my cheese and cream and apart from the fact that I'm enjoying the food, I'm struggling to get this last 4/5lb off:mad:  . My TOTM was last week which is why I wasn't too concerned about not losing then but there is no excuse this week!!!! I've had no atkins bars or nuts or anything that isn't allowed:mad:

    I'm a creature of habit so breakfast and lunch is always the same :rolleyes: (scrambled egg and mushrooms for B and lettuce/cabbage leaves with coronation chicken with bacon for L). Meals at tea time this week were;

Beef dinner (no pots) and small amount of cheese sauce x 2 weekly
    Mushroom and ham omlette
Cottage pie (mashed cauli on top)
    Chicken Curry and cauli rice
    Steak in red wine sauce
Fish pie (cauli mash, fish, mushrooms, cream and cheese sauce)

    Any suggestions will be welcomed:confused:
well done to all those who have lost:)
I have got to pop out for an hour or so to take the kids swimming but will check in as soon as I get home;)

Not that I don't want you to lose weight, but I'm glad I'm not the only one;)
    It's so frustrating isn't it:mad:
