Still don't understand, Saz. It's a long time since I worked out in the big wide world.
Are we talking team-bonding days or something? I do remember those. I won't say what I think of them, as MSE would just censor me.

Hi everyone, bit late today (must be that catfood I ate last night!!) :hello:
My menu for today:
B - blues/rasps/2 strawbs & cream
L - tuna salad
D - thinking about fish & chips without the chips?! It can't be that bad, can it?! I know I could take the batter off the fish & that would be ok but I lurve the batter so reeeallly don't want to!! What do all u peeps think??
Reason for the f&c is that my youngest daughter is going on a school trip to Paris tomorrow& she fancies a treat for tonight's dins. It's true, honest!! It will be her bday when she's away as well
so feeling doubly indulgent!! Anyway, methinks my mind is already made up!!:rotfl:

It is a bit confusing, but in America the total carb count includes fibre and the net carb total is the amount of 'useable' carbs ie with the fibre total deducted.
In Britain, the total carb figure is already the net carb figure - it already has the fibre total deducted.
probably shykins will tell me've i've got that wrong coz i'm a bit dim!:o lol
This is why it's necessary to be a bit cautious when reading American carb counters or nutrition labels.
hope that helps:)

Specking of food, at Home Bargains today they had bottles of Heinz mayo. Deli moroccan style was 29p for 280g 4.6g/100g carbs; sundried tomatoes was 29p for 280g 4.9g /100g carbs and Roasted garlic 39p for 280g 5.5g/100g carbs
I haven't tried them yet but they sound good and will make a change for the plain stuff.0
