Cheers Tink. Isn't the sauce the chicken etc comes in, high though?

Lordy lordy, if I'd had thought I could have eaten Chinese..........:rotfl:

Not especially - if they use MSG (the majority do) it could mess you up a bit though. And probably not a good idea to eat it all the time.

    I've had 2 chineses in 13 months.

Mmmmm, after years of being a pig, I'm not gonna miraculously change into having level eating habits in only 5 weeks so I think I'd best avoid Chinese for now. I've still go so much to lose that it's too early days to be thinking about that kind of food again I think. Pity though.....I can almost smell it and I love cashews. :)

Do you find you're eating less now?

    Yes, definitely.

However, I liken myself to an alchoholic.....I KNOW if I was to put one ready salted crisp into my mouth tonight, the whole multipack would be eaten also.

I've always been an 'all or nothing' type of person unfortunately. It really is a character flaw.

I'm sure it's not in other areas of life though!

I find it's easier if there's an alternative. S&V peanuts, for example, stop me from pinching a crisp off OH and licking off the flavouring (before handing back the soggy crisp :o) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I checked up on chinese- it wasn't soo bad. I had beef, chicken, pork and prawns with stirfry veggies. Okay perhaps the water chestnuts aren't too good, but they are low gi- aren't they?

I thank posts to show support, agreement or just plain gratefulness. I'm generous with my thanks as sometimes i don't have time to write a reply but i want to acknowledge the post/poster. I hate people who ask for thanks- I don't thank them on purpose LOL!

I don't judge people by their thank count either.

Specking of food, at Home Bargains today they had bottles of Heinz mayo. Deli moroccan style was 29p for 280g 4.6g/100g carbs; sundried tomatoes was 29p for 280g 4.9g /100g carbs and Roasted garlic 39p for 280g 5.5g/100g carbs

I haven't tried them yet but they sound good and will make a change for the plain stuff.

LOL! I've just realied that I've made the last 3 posts- thats not to boost my thanks count LOL!
