Its a new day so lets all start fresh and forget about what happened yesterday ;)

Well I'm off to Costco today to stock up on lovely goodies. Cheese and salami is soo cheap!

To the pwople who aren't losing, have you thought of increasing your fat ratios? Sounds scary i know, but I do think it works. So pass the butter please :)

Morning all. :) Safe to come in is it? :rotfl:

I didn't go shopping yesterday after all. I ended up putting the stereo on fairly loudly (dont worry I had replasterboarded the room last year with several layers of sound bloc so the neighbours wouldn't hear it, lol ;) ). Anyway, I danced around like an idiot with a wet cloth and a bottle of Flash and got shot of my frustrations. :D

However....I have to go today. Bum.

Hope you're all cheery cheery. :hello:

    Poor Badger!

And Mercy's too, I should think. Hope you have a happier day today.

A nice big breakfast, lots of water and an afternoon nap - that's my recipe for a hangover cure :D.

ethansmum, I'm a Costco fan also - love the price (and quality) of their meat, wine (:p), soft drinks, huge frozen prawns, postage stamps, printer paper, contact lens solution, coffee, bacon, frozen steak burgers, pet food, packs of peppers to chop and freeze, etc. etc. etc. It's just a bit painful in the pocket when I stock up there. Used to love their hot dogs too :(.

Think I shall have some leftover moussaka for lunch; dinner M&S chicken with leek and bacon, and some lovely nutmeggy spinach. I've got a rumbly in my tumbly just thinking about it. :D

Have a good day, all. Dropped my DDs to their Saturday jobs earlier and the pavements are very slippery, so take care.

My OH is on the Atkins Induction and doing brilliantly. He's lost 10lbs in 17 days. I'm at a normal weight range for my height but have put on 7lbs since Christmas. I know it doesn't sound a lot but all my clothes are feeling rather tight. I have been calorie counting for a few weeks but it's like pulling teeth and tediously slow. Could I lose a bit of weight on the Atkins plan even if I was so close to my ideal weight? or is it a plan really for people who have quite a bit to lose? I don't want to go on Atkins and find that I've put on weight by the end of the week?

    hi alm

As you have so little to lose perhaps, like Stacey, you might be better off with a less hard-core diet like Ted's Dr D? Or perhaps just skip Atkins induction stage?
  • Good morning everyone, especially Tink :hello:
    Menu for today
    B - blues/rasps & cream
L - thinking of having a couple of cumberland chipolata sausages & fried egg & mushrooms (yeah, think I talked myself into that one!!)
D - going out for daughter's Birthday treat to Tex Mex restaurant - have already checked with them about low-carb foods so I'm hoping I do ok. Am determined to pass on the chocolate Bday cake!!
Well, it's snowing here this morning which was a surprise as it wasn't even forecast for us!! Should be fun trying to negotiate the pavements in my high heels tonight!! Or maybe I should just wear my wellies?!
Daughter having 5 friends to 'sleep over' so really looking forward to that, not!!:rotfl:
See you all tomorrow (if I can open my eyes through the inevitable lack of sleep that is!!).

Self-inflicted so no sympathy here! (Don't mean it. Look after yourself. I'm only jealous coz you must have had a good time last night!) :)
