Actually can only have 2 glasses tops cos it gives me migraines : (. Just waiting on my chicken roasting....... Eat, drink and be merry, I say. In that order :j

Hi Woderful low carb dealers in this space!

Thanks to all for their support after my post of this morn.

Remembered a thing. 'youcan't have control of what life throws at you. But you do have control how you react to it'

Bearing this and the fact that I've worked with offending bloke for 16 years, 12 closely, I decided that a combination of goodwill and passive agression would work well. It did. He was as scared about meeting again as I was so being totally professional and yet not mates, yet, has had a good effect. He's backed off as no confrontational issues. Pulled his head in amazingly. We'll make up with provisos on Monday.

Seems to have been a week of discord all round.

Shall we blame it on the stars so we can forget about it all?

Not posting details as I'm not sure what they are. However, taking control at work today has kept me off the remaining chocs. All to the good!

Be happier people, it's , apparently, your call :)

You don't have any control over what life throws at you.
You DO have control over how you react :)

Can I just say something? :D

Tink really is the low carb police. And like the police, doesn't care what anyone thinks about her upholding the rules :)

She's successful as a veggie low carber and is the biggest contributor to the recipe list.

Not always the easiest of folk but 'uncompromising' can't be dressed up much.
Still, she know this stuff inside out.

I have indeed. In vino veritas or summat. That's why I can't list my stuff :)
I don't get down for long but it is often intense :)

We (ie anyone) can fall out but not for long. Not if I've anything to do with it anyway :D

To say life's too short would be a cliche but cliche's only exist cos they happen all the time :)

I love this space, thanks for being you in your infinite varieties!

  • But rules are there to be broken (soz cliche) and I, for one, will not tolerate ANYBODY,regardless of so-called "success", talk down to me or suffer their condesention as if they are superior to anyone, like, "hello"?

It's a case of"If you can't say anythin nice, say nothin at all", to coin a phrase.

I don't believe you can do it without choosing 1 plan and see continuous results.

There's been lots of discussion about that on here over the last year ;)

Well, you know how wishy-washy I am (see my sig ). I just keep my carbs as low as possible and presumably my weight loss speaks for itself. True, it might be higher if I didn't cheat so often.

    Speaking of which...
