Saz, we ended up booking Turkey. Been there a few times and so I would have preferred somewhere else. Looked at villas in Malta, Sardinia, the Algarve and the Greek islands but, whereas I preferred the 300-year-old converted farmhouses in beautiful villages, with four 18-year-olds in tow (DDs' boyfriends are coming) I knew that size of pool, number of bathrooms and, most importantly, proximity to all the action had to take priority - and unless you have a massive budget, you can't have everything. It's a lovely villa, though, in a nice area and I'm looking forward to it (even if it means some big economising from now till then). And Florence too - I adore Italy. :j
Hope you feel better soon. (Sounds as though you should have gone sick these last few days.)
Thanks hun xx you're right i probably should have, but you know how it is in the current economic climate, at my place of work, in common with many others, there have been cutbacks on top of cutbacks and what few staff are left are stretched to the limit, but then you think maybe the alternative to that is being out of work, so you put up with it:( We just about manage when everyone's in, but there's not much spare capacity:( Of course if i was really ill I wouldn't go in, but I do think twice about calling in sick if I can avoid it, but I know that's probably wrong:o
The villa in turkey sounds fab! If you've got room for a little sazzy and gilly badger in your suitcase let us know!:D

Hi all!
I didn't have the piggies for t last night as I sampled the sesame crackers and they were rather filling with cream cheese. Had a couple of rollmops and salad with them. The dessert was v nice, don't need much sweetner at all, if any.
Today
B - Pigs in blankets
L - HM curry
D - Bavarian ham, brie, salad and sesame crackers.
Will try the dessert without sweetner this time.
Have a lovely afternoon!

HC - the holiday sounds great - have a wonderful time and enjoy it with your girls - suspect my DD won't want to come with us anymore and I'll miss her:o
Had my week 2 weigh-in yesterday - wasn't expecting to have lost much as I've eaten LOADS this week...lost 3lbs:T . My DD was astonished and it spurred her on the keep on the low carb plan with me.
Thanks for all the cauli tips - I don't have a food processor so I'm going to invest in a potato ricer - this one at M&S seems good?

anyhoo,
B - friend egg and ham, cherry toms
L - salad with a chopped sausage and chopped chicken breast (leftovers!)
D - pork joint and veggies0 -
Hi Avstar, well done honey!
The sesame crackers are nice with something, I had cheese but I reckon buttered would be good to. On their own the taste is a bit strong and dry. Maybe alter the ratio of almond to seeds when you've tried em. I'll have to finish them off tonite and give it some thought :rotfl:
My work jeans feel looser but I'm putting it down to them stretching with wear this week so as to avoid any possible disappointments Sunday
Big love to all!
