- Patay for breakfast.
- 2 chicken legs, some cheese and 1/2 pint of whole milk for dinner.
Am I really being a good boy doing this?
BTW
After 2 weeks of starving on my other diet, there is a certain amount of "freedom" occuring on this new diet.Girls are gonna love the way I toss my hair. Boys are gonna hate the way I seem.

I just find it so liberating not having to count anything. Personally, I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than have to do that, but hey, maybe that's just me! lol
I tend to supplement the meat with veggies or salad, if only for variety if not to make sure I get me vits:)
Dr Dahlqvist says that pate etc should be under 5g of carb per 100g - so it's worth checking label. Last week I tried some pate on one of those Scandanavian Bran Crispbreads recommended by shykins and after getting over the initial reaction that it was like eating compressed hamster bedding, I quite liked themAnd only 3 gms of carb each!

I think Dr Atkins realised one very important point. If we were not meant to eat animals why are they made out of meat?Who I am is not important. What I do is.0

But.....if god didn't want us to eat potatoes.....why do i love chips?Girls are gonna love the way I toss my hair. Boys are gonna hate the way I seem.

When we were kids the family ate butter and had fryups all the time.
Now I wasn't thin back then but we weren't like we are now.
BTW
Does all this affect my cholestoral level?Girls are gonna love the way I toss my hair. Boys are gonna hate the way I seem.

Ted is far better informed than me about this:D but I think I'm right in saying that the message given out to us about the relationship between fat and cholesterol is somewhat oversimplified, to say the least. There is apparently evidence to suggest that the so-called "bad fats" like saturated fat, can raise your "good" HDL cholesterol (high-density lipoprotein) - which reduces your heart disease risk - more than they increase your "bad" LDL cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein) - which increases the risk of heart disease. So they may not be such "bad fats" after all... but Ted will correct me if I'm wrong:)
