I can confirm the Tesco Value sim works fine so at £6.73 inc £10 worth of calls at 15p a minute all networks and 5p text for the occaisional user its a better deal than o2 pay as you go.

I'm rather a low user on my mobile, primarily use it for texts. I've just had a reply from O2 saying that if I don't make AND receive at least one call in any 6 month period, then they would disconnect my mobile phone. They do not take texts into consideration.
I'm assuming what they actually mean is that they will stop the sim card working - they can't disconnect the phone can they?0 -

I thought it was 'make "OR" receive at least one call in any 6 month period', not "AND", but I could be wrong.
They just unregister your SIM rendering it unusable, they don't do anything to the phone it's in.0 -
The customer services e-mail stated:Thank you for contacting O2 Customer Service.
If you do not make and receive a call at least once in any 6 month period your Mobile Phone will be disconnected.
Text messages will not be considered.
But they have been known to be wrong before!! I suppose as I'm getting so many free minutes per top up anyway, I'll just have to remember to make the effort! If I use the sim, anyway.
Edit - I've just read through the terms & conditions that came with the SIM. They were wrong in their e-mail (or they've changed the t&c since!) - it states "If you do not make or receive a call at least once in any 6 month period your mobile phone will be disconnected and any credits left on your Account will be forfeited".0 -
Well, just had another e-mail back from them - apparently they have changed their t&c - to say that you have to make AND receive at least one call in any 6 mont period. I guess that means that if you don't get many calls, you'll have to ring yourself so you can keep it working!!0

Thanks to whoever posted comment about the chargers - I was going to just swallow it, but I have e-mailed them
tried to e-mail them via the website and the page after you submit your comment cannot be loaded - Typical O2

Not as yet...I am waiting to see if my phone works....Bought a charger at the market for £4.50 but when I got it home he had sold me the wrong one...So I hope one comes soon...0

I ordered 3 on Thursday, one for the wife, one for me and one for my mom. All 3 to different addresses. I have had despatch emails and my mom recieved a SIM card in the post with 'Phone to follow' letter.
How do you track your order on the DHL site? All i have is an order number (gm-006317***) so where do I put this in on DHL's site or do I need to wait for a delivery number?0
