hello peeps. sorry I havn't been around much. I've been getting to grips with the grocery challenge and generally frugalling. And yesterday I spent the whole day without going on line:eek: . I can report that I did survive but it was a near thing:D .
Jules - that sounds really horrible: I do hope you get better soon. You are quite right - 'eating plans' must go out the wonow when youare that sick.
Vix, really sorry to hear the hiatus on the flat front. I guess the truth is, flat/hse hunting is always difficult and fraute. Keep at it and at it and sucess will be all the sweeter.
Doing lots of batch cooking today, having had loads of veg from friends allotment yesterday. Yogurt making going well, and have been muller light free for over 3 weeks now:D .
Happy birthday for yesterday Lesley:j :j . Another select member of the August birthdays club cake.gif.
Can't believe how quiet it is here. Efrieze, well done for breaking the patten and refocussing. As long as you keep doing that, over all you are going to ok. Would doing the chart help this month?
    Delly - fab restart of 4lbs:T .
Have reintroduced a little more fat into eating plan, as I focus more on frugal eating and buying meat from the butcher. It certainly adds flavour to some recipes and doesn't seem to be harming our weight: still maintaining ok.

Saturday 30th August vix:D I was always the baby in my school year. And I guess you were one of the oldest. I'm having a lovely walk and picnic with about 18 friends so hopefully the weather will be good.

    Hi all

Well, my first week at SW resulted in a 2lb loss, which I'm happy with. Hope everyone else is having a good week.

I've been getting re-acquainted with the SW website, and the food diary has improved a lot. There's a recipe on there for butternut squash curry, which I tried yesterday, and it was very tasty - easy to make too.

In case anyone hasn't read about it in the weekly MSE email, Waitrose have an offer for August - spend £50 online and get £15 off! All you have to do is quote 'save15' when you get to checkout, and you can do 2 shops before the end of August. I've got my first Waitrose delivery coming tomorrow. I usually shop online with Sainsbury's and I'm not sure if I'd switch to Waitrose permanently, but it's worth trying for £15. I'll report back tomorrow!

OH made an exciting announcement yesterday - he's decided to sell his Harley Davidson and he wants to spend some of the proceeds on a luxury holiday! :D:D:D:D (Selling the hog must mean the mid-life crisis is over!) Just have to decide where I really want to go now... Hawaii, Jamaica, Australia, Bali.... mmmm! :D

BB - if you're ready for a break from the chart I'm happy to take over.

    Catch y'all later.

If you are happy to take over, then yes, I'd like a break form the chart. It is very quiet at the moment so won't take too much. I'll do it tomorrow then post on to you if ok. Thanks alot. Would you PM me your email address.

BB I am happy to do the chart too - I reckon it would help me refocus a bit too. Lois - I could do it August and you take over for September? I am relaxed either way.
