Really need to calm down and stop makingexcuses for my bad diet at the moment. I'm so stressed out and on edge I'm ready to snap.

KPC   that is just how I feel ... I am eating the most inappropriate food imaginable but school is ssssoooooo stressful that I'm comfort eating and I don't really care. Well I do care but I'm trying not to. Bl00dy parents, bl00dy staff and bl00dy children. 99% are lovely but the the others are just taking over at the moment. 2 more days then, hopefully, I can forget about them and catch up on all the work I haven't been able to do for the past few weeks AND get on track again.

PS Being a headteacher is the best job ever really. And I've got the bruises to prove it.

Vixarooni - I saw Queen live at Wembley in the early 80s (I am 46 thank you!!) and they were absolutely awesome..... I was such a Freddie fan that when he died my sister rang me to see if I was OK!!
    Well done everyone....
    the losers - that's obvious!
the stsers - after various hols that sounds really good and
the gainers - you all sound so positive and I do feel when you know why it makes it easier to deal with.

Exercise..... I am a fan (can't believe I said that without thinking), and went to the gym 3 times last week for a proper workout and aqaufit 1 night so fingers crossed for my weigh in. We had a few social events over the weekend but I watched what I ate and didn't drink much ( 1 glass of wine at each event).

Good luck to those yet to weigh in.

NO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........

Starlight, as a long term member and page 1 star I never took you off:D . We've missed you being around but really glad it is for no other reason that business. Well done on the continuing fab weightloss:T .
Granny - I can feel the stress from here. No way can you add 'careful eating' to the pile of 'must do' until term ends. Roll on the end of the week.
Marion - that ain't a bad gain at all really - you have done so well recently, you know you'll get it off soon.
Petrichor - hope you are lurking even if you don't feel up to posting. Your humour and chat are very missed - hope you are hanging on in there and look forward to having you back when you are up to it. Still using my spotty notebook - packed with MSE tips and recipe ideas. Us it every day xx
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

I've always been of the opinion that it's better to lose a bit in advance of a special occasion - do you guys think I should stop worrying about this and deal with the gains after they have happened instead?

Short answer from me is yes!!! You have done really well but need to relax a little or you will achieve burn out !!
