Hi - nice new thread!:j :j
Missyg - yes - I am looking forward to Sunday, am delighted to have over £600 in sponsorship now.
I ran last night, am walking tomorrow and resting Saturday ready for the big event!! I asked Darren, my personal trainer, about preparation and he said to keep as hydrated as possible on Saturday and SUnday - even mentioned these isotonic drinks - has anyone tried them?
I had to avert my eyes on the Dr Who talk as we haven't seen them yet...  . That's the problem with sky+ - you get way behind, but then you can have a fantastic catch up night.:TNO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........0 -

Hi all
The hospital appointment went well today - the doctor confirmed that DH is making excellent progress. We popped down to the ward to say thank you to the staff and they were really impressed with how well he's doing too. It was strange going back and seeing people in the early post-op stage, I'm so glad that's all behind us now.
Suggs - thanks for starting the new thread.
Catch you all tomorrow.

evening all,
i got ambushed by some gu chocolate brownies earlier. It's my own fault for buying them for a packaging meeting because they were interesting. Still according to the packaging they were only 200kcal each and 12g fat. Which isn't actually that bad i don't think for the mega chocolatey hit you get off them. I only had one which is good - but then followed it up with a load of custard creams which was bad. Still i'm still okay for the week which is the main thing.
tawe kwon do! cool! i used to love kickboxing but just don't have the time these days. ah, the joys of being self employed AND employed.0 -
Sounds exciting young bean! Ouch to the blood blister, are they as painful as the normal ones? I only deal in the painful foot rubbing blisters that are ouchy ouchy!
KPC: its funny how chocolate just springs up on you like that isnt it? especially at a packaging meeting!
lois: Glad it went well today and your husband is doing well.
Hope everyone has a good day tomorrow, im working 10-3 *booooring* i hate 5 hour shifts. Then im gunna get my hair cut, do some shopping and come home and chillax. Thats the agenda anyway heh.

missyg, we got the freeby freeby box working so will be able to watch the tour intro prog tomorrow evening. Sadly this also means I've had to endure the OH watching 1970 reruns all evening on channel 'carp you used to think was fab when you were young'.
Kpc - thanks for the advice re the mini muffin tins - I'm going for the silicon one defo.
